Basically, last July a dermatologist froze three textbook looking warts…and during my first follow-up I showed him two other places and he prescribed Zyclara to treat the them. Well, one of the ones treated with Zyclara seemed to flake off around October 1st, and I stopped using Zyclara on October 23rd.

However , I have more erections during sleep (than day time ), the imiquimod cream might be wiped off by the underwear when I have an erection. I was prescribed Zyclara by a Dermatologist to treat Molluscum Contagiousum. The Zyclara caused a skin burn on the head of my penis....looked red, shiny, kind of like glass. The texture of the skin came back but the color is still red and it is painful after sex and/or hiking or any exercise that causes chafing. I have since been to two other dermatologists: 1 prescribed Triamcinolone cream and told me to use it one week on and then take a one week break for several months.

2) I have HPV with a small genital wart that I am treating with Imiquimod cream but has not yet gone away (the wart is on the other side of my penis, not the part of the penis that rubbed against her as I laid on my back, so I am sure the wart did not touch her) What is her risk of contracting genital warts from me???

Aldara is a cream used for topical treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer, and is thought to act through stimulation of anti-tumour immunity. The active ingredient, imiquimod, has been shown to stimulate toll-like receptor 7. Aldara also induces psoriasis-like lesions when applied to naive murine skin, and as such is used as a mouse model for psoriasis. Here we find that in naive murine skin, Aldara induces inflammation largely independently of toll-like receptor 7.
Can anyone describe their experiences with Imiquimod? I am on the 3.75% cream which my doctor has told me to use every other day for a month. In the first 2 weeks, nothing happened, only just a couple days ago I noticed a very slight indication that the medication might be working, but I'm still not sure. I have about 20-30 very small warts, and notice 2 or 3 of them showing a bit of redness and drying up a bit. Still not sure if this is due to the medication.
A couple of weeks ago i discovered warts on my genital area at the base of my penis and was diagnosed formally by my dr. I was prescribed imiquimod to be applied 3 days a week but heard apple cider vinegar does a great job of clearing warts. I was prescribed Aldara (imiquimod) to get rid of a few perianal HPV warts since cryotherapy was only making it worse. After only about 2 weeks of usage almost all symptoms of the warts were gone however I now have perianal psoriasis in its place. That is one of the side-effects of imiquimod and it mainly strikes people whom are genetically prone to having psoriasis.

If you are using imiquimod cream to treat genital and anal warts, you will probably apply it once a day for 3 days a week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). I then went back for a follow up and showed him two other areas that I noticed and he didn't seem quite as convinced they were warts...but prescribed Zyclara cream. The bump seemed go away and I stopped looking as I waited for the 3 month period...and have reached that time frame. Thus, I started looking at the area again and can still feel a bump near the circumcision scar...
I was diagnosed with a precancerous lesion on my face that is a light pink color close to my mouth. The doctor performed a light cryosurgery and told me it would blister, scab and heal to remove the spot. I had the procedure done on Monday with a small blister forming.
