Anyone here know anything about zetia and its affect on the thyroid and or levo absorption? I have read it may affect absorption and the rx monograph says talk tp your doctor if you have thyroid disorders. He knows I am on synthroid, but I am curious how this drug affects it.

-() I have also just started taking 60 mg of Dexilant, which the gastro doctor believes may help with my possible acid reflux. This is why they always ask you when you pick up a Rx at the Pharmacy if you have any questions, and why they provide you with an education monograph for each and every medication that is prescribed to you. You really ARE supposed to read those things! (LOL...not many do, I know) I know that isn't what you want to hear, but really...everyone must be responsible for their own health and safety...and must work WITH the docs in forming decisions on what meds to take, what they are for, etc.

What you are describing is stomach acid. Try frequent small meals to help keep the acid level down and for me I always had tums with me for when I could feel it coming.

after a few days went to see doctor he said its because of late nights and junk food causing the acid to rise to the throat and also stress. he gave me lanzaparole 30mg a day. i could lay down with no choking for a couple of days but day four it started again and everytime i lay down felt choking. how long does it take to take effect?

since yesterday ive been burping acid having chest discomfort and my stomach feels warm could this be my heart it does not get worse with exercise or is it just acid reflux any help would be good thanks in advance

I've been having terrible acid ever night, I can't sleep and it gets so bad I get really really sick that's my only way to get any sort if relief does anyone have any advice as to how to calm it down before it gets to vomiting

I understand that iron loading is a no-no in Hep C, but the drug monograph is pretty insistent that iron should be given while on the med... And how high have people gone with eprex/procrit? I'm on 40,000IU/wk, my doc is proposing putting it up to 60,000IU/wk. Anyone have any experience with the higher dose?

Has anyone experienced an increase in Uric Acid since starting the Triple with incivek? Uric Acid causes gout and my last two labs shows a 12.x+ in the count. I am in week six of the triple therapy for a 12 week period.
