Chronic hepatitis C patients with elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels were randomly assigned to receive UDCA at doses of 150 mg/day (n = 199), 600 mg/day (n = 200), or 900 mg/day (n = 197) for 24 weeks. Changes in ALT, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) were measured.
Results
• ALT, AST, and GGT levels decreased at week 4, then remained constant for the remainder of the drug administration period.

I have just gone onto blood pressure medication in the last week.
These ranges I beleive are normal but they have all increased in 6 months.
Anyone have any advice?
Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time)
I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!
nortriptylene, however, they were not good for concentration! I noticed that other people take higher doses of Wellbutrin150 mg in the morning and 150 mg evening! I tried Wellbutrin awhile back and they certainly didn't make me tired in fact it was the opposite! That is why I am wondering if I am on too low a dose, although you say it maybe too high! I am definitely going to try them at night ... makes sense if I am tired after I take one..and start feeling better early evening!
I am now taking 40 mg of Prilosec in the morning and 40 mg Prilosec in the evening. This has not been helping me, so I am now also taking Zantac 150 mg h.s. in addition to the 40 mg of Prilosec b.i.d. The head of my bed is on 2 x 4s to keep it elevated, and I sleep on 3 pillows at night. I have GERD all the time: Before meals, after meals, in between meals, and while sleeping. The acid comes up into the back of my throat and burns my throat raw.
I have been on paxil for the last year and the dr. recently added wellbutrin 150 mg two x a day. I was still having some depression/anxiety issues so I saw a psychiatrist who changed me to wellbutrin 200mg twice a day and weaning off the paxil. I have been taking 10 mg of paxil for the last month and now am taking it every other day to wean off. In the last few days I have been so dizzy to the point of almost falling down and not sleeping well at night with crazy dreams.
I have had heartburn forever and I tried the prescription meds, but I feel the Zantac works the best. But 75 is not enough, make sure you take 150 mg. twice a day. Also, you can supplement it with Mylanta or Maalox liquid if it's really bad.
I'm not saying this will be a miracle cure, but it's worth a try. Unless you tried Zantac already, I don't know.

I am wondering the exact same thing. I have also been on flecainide for about a year and am now experiencing terrible heartburn.
I have the same problem - I sleep with a pillow between my knees but my hips always hurt really bad from sleeping on my sides. As for the acid reflux, my doc prescribed me Zantac 150 mg and it has saved my life. All day relief as long as you take it on time. Mine was so bad it didnt matter what I ate, and I'd wake up a million times a night with acid crawling up my throat.
