Hello Shirl000, I was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few weeks ago and have been on naproxen for about a month now. It helps with the pain and some days are better than others. I went to a rheumatoid dr and she gave me other medications to take along with the naproxen to help alleviate the pain. Hope this helps and you're feeling better.

I have been treated for rheumatoid arthritis with Humira for 7 months including a combination of Humira and methotrexate for the past 2 months. Suddenly, after 20 weeks, I started having small joints pain, stiffness and redness of my hands; I am very upset that it can be RF. Next week I will see my doc to have RF test done. From what you have described, the symptoms are most likely arthritic in nature and the migratory pattern of these arthritides is really a diagnostic challenge. Well, I have suspected I had some form of arthritis for years. It started in my lower back and I had several bad flares that put me in bed and no one believed me. I have been having these blisters appearing only in the mornings and between my finger for the last 4 months. My hands nearly drive me nuts. I have changed soaps, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and everything there is to change. I have only very tiny blisters with clear fluid that dry out and then crack where the skin has gotten dry. Eczema lotion helps with the dryness but not the blistering. I have used alcohol, cortisone creams, anti-itch creams, calamine lotion....you name it.

I used to take a drug for psoriatic arthritis that can induce MS or MS-like symptoms in rare cases. I had tingling and numbness on the left side of my face, extending down through my left arm. I also had burning sensations in my fingertips, and buzzing in my fingertips, along with recurrent uveitis. I was MRIed twice. The first time I had 1 lesion, and the second (one month later) there were 3 more lesions. I was taken off the drug and I didn't have any symptoms.
