I had posted an earlier question 'herpes and labial adhesion', but realizing I may be incorrect at this point - as I am still in the process of finding out what this may be medically called, this partial closing of her vagina - I thought perhaps leaving it at 'lesion' might be better, as it's alot easier to find info. online for lesion than adhesion. I just got off the phone with our doctor and she has an appointment tomorrow afternoon.

i developed itching in my labia majora inner part just 1 year before i got married, i applied clotrimazole cream after which it subsided. About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with a yeast infection, followed by a diagnosis of Herpes I. After several treatments of Diflucan and Nitrix cream the discharge stopped but I still have pinching and itching externally on the labial area and the rectal area. Try rubbing some antibiotic cream on the area. For any physical injury it kills bacteria and stops the pain/rash they cause, and speeds healing.

I have a niece that had the same; vaginal adhesion. momoftenwins is right. All it takes is a little cream and it will eventually open up. My niece's mom, however didn't discover this untill she was 3. Now my niece is just fine: a little time and a little cream did the trick.

Or do I just go on estriol cream/patch or estrogel cream....and then figure out if I need t add more, and how do I figure that out - how does one know if she needs progesterin/progestin or testosterone added (either the medical kind or the bio identical kind).

, I am a mom of a 8 year old girl who has been having redness and skin sloughing in the rectal area. She also has redness in the labial folds as well. We have been treating this with desitin and RX cream,it does clear up for alittle while but comes back. Her physician is not sure what it might be or the cause. I have been seeing a dermatologist for some time now regarding a rash that appeared on my face last July (2011). It started around the nasal labial folds on my face and was itchy and unsightly. I used various creams on it including Hydrocortisone, Daktacort, Nizoral, Betnovate C, Eumovate and Protopic with varying degrees of success (I am guilty of using anti fungal creams for days instead of weeks as I see no improvement).

Since I was in middle school and not sexually active, I've had itchy labial/anal skin on and off. I became sexually active at age 17 and have been since (23 now). In 2013 I was diagnosed with/treated for chlamydia,but the itchiness that came along with that seemed to have stuck around. Difference is, its no longer itchy on the inside, just the outer labia and down near the anus (like before).

im using antifungal cream clotrimazole for years now, it has helped to relieve the symptoms but it has not completely relieved the symptoms. the area look normal but darker skin than before without any lesions but do look reddish some times, no open sores. it is not worse like before. It makes me some times aware of the symptoms, which is quite annoying. I am not sexually active but i am going to marry in 3 months. i am worried this would be a problem.

I agree they are not herpes related. Also, I don't think the throat thing has anything to do with the labial thing but if it did the antibiotics would take care of both. It doesn't sound like an STD related issue it is an infection or a cyst that is draining (regarding the labial area). If the throat or the labial area don't clear up and/or if you re-develop a fever see your doctor.

I have tried vasoline, hydrocortisone cream, some zinc cream, washing my lips with water and soap and then applying vasoline. They look similiar to the angular cheilitis just not as bad as the pics I've seen online. When they first were there they kinda hurt like when I would open my mouth to eat, but then after about a few days to a week they didn't hurt like that anymore, they just were there.
