Avatar m tn Or do I just go on estriol cream/patch or estrogel cream....and then figure out if I need t add more, and how do I figure that out - how does one know if she needs progesterin/progestin or testosterone added (either the medical kind or the bio identical kind).
Avatar m tn Hi sorry hormone therapy will not help at all , there are no pills or cream to make your penis any bigger , take care ,
Avatar f tn Lanolin cream is the best to use for breast feeding mamas

Avatar m tn I found out a rash on parts of my chest and abdomen is tinea versicolor (spelling?). The dermatologist prescribed Ketoconazole cream. Anyone know if that is safe to use with Lyme Disease.? I looked online but found only mentions of the pill.
Avatar f tn Lil Lady is correct. Progesterone is a hormone supplement, so you have to have a dr's prescription to get it. Why were you thinking about starting it? Did a doctor recommend it?
200220 tn?1361951554 Dr. Lupus: My holistic doctor gave me natural progesterone cream to use to help me stabilize my moods and pick up the free estrogen that is floating in my body. My question to you is it dangerous to use with taking levothyroxine 37.5 with having hashimotor disease. My doctor is an MD also and seem to be very knowledgeable about the thyroid along with helping me with celiac disease. What is your experience with this natural product.
Avatar f tn Took new saliva test and went to new hormone specialist. She changed me to cream (bio-identical also) plus added 4 adrenal food supplements. I have taken the same blood pressure med for 17 years and kept my levels normal. After using the hormone cream and adrenal supplements for three weeks, my blood pressure soared. My doctor took me off the supplements, but my blood pressure was still dangerously high. She doubled my present BP med plus added another med before it would come back down.
Avatar f tn s some pretty expensive organic, all natural ones out there with bases like almond oil etc (maybe try a health food shop? Or online) and a zinc cream/stick would be fine too (but gross for a whole body covering).
1031264 tn?1318524241 t want it clouding my CD21 progesterone test to check if I ovulated - turned out I got pregnant but lost it very early. My hormone doc suggested I take this cycle off TTC and start the cream early from CD6 to build up my progesterone for a month which is what I'm doing. Next month when I go back to TTC I will use it a day or so after I have ovulated and continue that for a few months.
Avatar f tn After being checked for everything else under the sun and having that aspect ignored, I ordered a saliva test done to determine this to be sure and used an over the counter natural progesterone cream (as opposed to synthetic progestin) after trying several, I found Pro-Gest by Emerita to be the most effective. My sister in law used the same one. There are more on the market now then there were back then, so I can't speak about those.
Avatar f tn Order novena online. All natural ingredients.
Avatar m tn I know from personal experience. Natural testosterone cream reduced my blood sugar, triglyceride and cholesterol levels to a normal range. My depression lifted and my enegry levels increased. When testosterone is converted to DHT and estrogen it can be problematic. But there are safe and effective way to prevent that from happening. I'm not considering testosterone treatment for my baby but I know that an imbalance of hormones can effect the body in many ways, not just sexuality.
358971 tn?1330888975 If anyone has used progesterone cream for hormone balancing (high estrogen/low prog.) and ended up being pregnant...i would love to know if you had symptoms, what they were, and whether or not you stopped using the progesterone cream before expected AF and THEN found out you were preggo....if so, was everything okay? i've read that stopping p cream when pregnant can cause m/c. I'd appreciate feedback ladies...i'm going crazy over here with all these questions in my head!!!

Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression about a year ago. Finally about 3 weeks ago, I really felt better. My doctor and therapist were very pleased, but now I feel so much worse and I don't understand it. I don't think I'm suicidal, but I sure wish I was. Does anyone else feel like that? I'm nervous, sad, want to die but can't do it myself. I even think I just haven't found the right method yet.
Avatar m tn Have any of you ever used Aldara 5% cream? My dermatologist suggested it to determine if my mole was just an irritation or a skin cancer. After reading the package insert and doing some research online I was to scared to try it. If it is recommended to me again I am wondering if I should use it. Thanks!
Avatar f tn I was placed on HRT - estrogen and estrogen vagina cream. I was 23 and had a 14 month old baby girl at home and needless to say it was a very difficult time. Reach out to family and friends for support. Baby yourself, rest and try to relax. Look into alternatives to estrogen and dont stop until you find something that works for you. You are still young and have many more years ahead. I'd suggest looking into naturopathy for alternatives.
Avatar n tn It is severe at the moment and I am being treated with a steroid cream. I have been off any hormones for quite a few years, but still do not sleep well and and some hot flashes. I have read that this disease may be associated with hormones, and was wondering if I should begin a hormone treatment to build up the walls of the area.. Thank you for any help.
Avatar n tn I have tried several anti inflammatory medications, ibuprofen, arthritis strength tylenol, naprosyn to name a few, and nothing seems to alleviate my discomfort. A friend suggested I try using progesterone cream ( natural Yam) and I immediately felt relief of my joint pain. Is joint pain an actual symptom of menopause? Is progesterone cream safe to use? The comfort I gain from using the cream seems to wear off toward the end of the day. Can I use it twice a day?
Avatar f tn (** If you do go back to your doctor, ask for samples of either the Premrin cream or Estrace cream because I know the cream can be very expensive.) Maybe you are having a reaction to the Premrin cream?? A more complete hormone therapy may be beneficial - it should definitely help with the vaginal dryness. I can give you a lot of information on hormone options and information if you like - just let me know. send me a note or email. Sorry this has been so frustrating for you.
Avatar f tn A couple of members here, including myself, watched Robin McGraw yesterday speak about bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Did you know that women as young as their teens can have hormonal imbalances ? And that you can show signs of perimenopause in your 20s... feel horrible and be misdiagnosed with chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia ? And yet the medical field has failed us again on this other issue.
Avatar f tn So many women with hypothyroidism, also have PCOS. Myself included. I found progesterone cream and Metformin ER has helped with the PCOS symptoms. Many of us with PCOS have low progesterone levels. Progesterone cream helps to raise levels and it also helps to balance the thyroid. Metformin ER can help with the elevated glucose, insulin, and testosterone levels.
1415174 tn?1453243103 Thanks. Yes I tried the Flector patches and cream and so far not any relief. I tried the Lidoderm patch and no relief either. I can ask for lidocaine cream. I think the muscle relaxant helped the other day but not today. Oh well, I'll keep trying. thanks all.
