My doc is trying to reduce the dose. Since I was on tacrolimus only(as Mycophenolate causes TLC to go down in two occasion), sirolimus 1mg is started along with reduced tacrolimus(2mg BD, Tac level ~4.5). But the creatinine is still high(1.8). It seems some side effect of Sirolimus is also coming as the TLC is 3400 and platelet is 80,000.
What do you suggest to bring creatinine under control?
What is the way to determine the exact required dose of tacrolimus?
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
everything seems normal I compared my current tests with old tests all in normal range as before except TLC and Platelet count. Does this show any infection ? or is it truvada effect ?
TLC count : 8100 6 months before count was 4600 and normal range is 4000 to 11000
Platelete : 3.64 6 months before count was 2.1 and normal range is 1.5 to 4.5
Serum createnin is normal and SGOT/SGPT remained bit increased that because of Truvada.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. In my test, the doctor states hyperinflation and air trapping. My TLC is high (129% of predicted) and RV is very high as well (143%) but my RV/TLC ratio is within normal limits. (111% of predicted) ...would this still support a diagnosis of air trapping?
Also my FRC and TLC are both high, but my FRC/TLC ratio is within normal limits. would this still support their diagnosis of hyperinflation?
Is it possible that i just have abnormally giant lungs for my age and height?
my FEV1/FVC is normal 83.
5'5 115 LBS 48 yr old male had asthma as a child and had allergy shots as well and out grew both when I hit puberty smoked 1pack day 32 yrs also some pot during that time. quit smoking oct 1 2009. have always had a couple of bouts each yr with bronchitis. since I stopped smoking I have no cough to bring up mucus, and more flare ups of bronchitis with extreme shortness of breath among other things. been to two drs and one says moderate to severe.
Be careful in watching the labor/delivery ones, I did that with my first pregnancy and thought it was going to be the worst pain in my life, I don't do well with pain, but it looked way worse on tv than it was actually giving birth.
The CLC0, actually DLCO, is definitely, significantly reduced. The borderline TLC and the definitely reduced RV and RV/TLC ratio are suggestive of restrictive lung disease. You failed to list the result of the FEV1 which would be the most important measurement for evaluation of asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), although the low TLC value would be against the diagnosis of either of these 2 obstructive lung diseases.
My TLC count is 3000 I had fever and urine infection also. My eosinophil is also little bit high. Should I take it seriously.
I know a lot of people get cuts on their vagina during sex... but my question is can you get cuts on your vagina from other types of dryness?? toilet paper or even masturbating?? I have these cuts between my vagina and my anus.. they're little and they come and go... I don't have any burning or itching... just hurts when i spread my legs or when i use the bathroom and pee gets on them it stings......i don't know what it is!
S- this is such a tough surgery and she will require lots of TLC during the recovery time. And when she starts feeling better, you will especially have to keep her from doing too much because her body will still be healing.

If I were to send you a copy of my spirometry results would you be able to decipher them for me. I have asked my hospital if I can see them as I haven't really been told much about them by my doctor. I have been for that and a vq scan re a pe. which thankfully it wasn't but was told that I had emphysema the thing is my own doctor doesnt seem to think it is this and that I have asthma as I feel so much better with my inhalers.
Till two weeks back she was on PanGraaf 4mg, Wysolone (steroid) 15mg and CellCept 1000 mg a day. At that time (i.e. two weeks back) her blood result showed that her TLC has slipped to below normal (which is minimum 4) and was showing as 2.8. Her Haemoglobin seems to have settled around 11.2. All other results including Blood, LFT, Creatine etc show normal. Doctor reduced her CellCept to 500 mg (from 1000mg) and increased PanGraaf to 5 mg (from 4mg) and Wysolone (steroid) to 12.5mg (from 15 mg).

If pulse is more than 80 and blood shows high TLC counts, is suggestive of appendicitis. In case of ureter stone, urine usually shows infection and ultrasound is diagnostic, pain is usually radiating in nature.
Well colon pain is colicky or dull in nature, do you have recent history of diarrhea?
