So when I got engaged I started to watch tv shows like"say yes to the dress"... Then we purchasing a house, started to watch tv shows like "house hunters".. now that I'm expecting, I would like to watch tv shows about pregnancy/delivery.. Anyone knows of one?? If so, what's the name & channel ?? I tried searching last nite (Dish) but couldn't find any.....
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

So I was just watching A Baby Story on TLC and the baby began crying. My 2 year old Chorkie immediately became attentive and his ears stuck up in the air and he watched the tv from afar. His reaction shocked me because he has never been around a baby so I don't know how he will act when the baby arrives and he is no longer the center of attention. Anyway!
Continue to provide him with TLC (tender loving care). Hold his hand as uch as possible, cuddel with him and talk to him. Expose him to as much stimuli as possible. Take him outside, have him watch television and listen to talk radio. Only time will tell if there is improvement. Give it at least four months. Try to get some outside help. Either a relative or from an agency. He will undoubtedly understand much more than he seems to be.

Last week we had to double his dosage of cefuroxim as he has grown so much, and was basically underdosed for a while.
The recent regression of symptoms seems to be reversing I think. He has stopped stuttering!!!! Hurrah! And he hasn't complained of light hurting his eyes in the last few days.
But he has become spectacularly tetchy and cries at the drop of a hat or else melts down into screaming fits.
In my test, the doctor states hyperinflation and air trapping. My TLC is high (129% of predicted) and RV is very high as well (143%) but my RV/TLC ratio is within normal limits. (111% of predicted) ...would this still support a diagnosis of air trapping?
Also my FRC and TLC are both high, but my FRC/TLC ratio is within normal limits. would this still support their diagnosis of hyperinflation?
Is it possible that i just have abnormally giant lungs for my age and height?
my FEV1/FVC is normal 83.
The CLC0, actually DLCO, is definitely, significantly reduced. The borderline TLC and the definitely reduced RV and RV/TLC ratio are suggestive of restrictive lung disease. You failed to list the result of the FEV1 which would be the most important measurement for evaluation of asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), although the low TLC value would be against the diagnosis of either of these 2 obstructive lung diseases.
