Id die before I lived with dead rats and would NEVER expose a child to that. I understand some of those people on the show have problems, but when a kids involved you need to get your act togehter. Just my opinion.

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

On her FB page are numerous comments about a Today Show segment she apparently did the other day on CFS. The comments are about how she was perceived to gloss over and trivialize that condition, and skeptism that the patient who was profiled even has CFS as she was portrayed as very active and doing well. The feeling seems to be that she showed a best case scenario which is not the reality for most CFS patients who often struggle just to get out of bed.

It truly everyone preference of using them or not! A lot of stuff has changed since I was a baby for safety issues some I agree with others not so much! The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air. OSHA has limits of something like 25 ppm for people working in industry, apparently over that amount of ammonia in the air is bad for the lungs. As they were talking, the meter went over 25, then over 40, then over 60, then I think it stopped in the 70s or 80s.

Alright ladies, if anyone follows my post, you'd see that I had my membrane sweep done today! :) since I got it done this afternoon, my cramping has been horrible! It's been about 5 hours since I got it done... I went to the Bathroom & when I wiped (sorry tmi) there was a bloody mucus (alot)... now I know they say there's a difference between bleeding/spotting from the strip vs the bloody mucus show.. it wasn't a 'dry' spotting.. it was def mixed with alot of mucus..

Does this mean labor can happen any day or its just preparing for labor to happen in a few weeks? I'm 36+5. Lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago , lost it again today with the bloody show .

I have been watching the A&E series on hoarders. Very scary. My guess she won't clean much if she is one. Basically swirl the same chit around into a different pile in a different corner....ya, know?.......If I were you...as horrible as this may sound...you would be doing her a favor turning her into the Humane Society. Normal people don't have 16 dogs and they don't die of disease and buried in their yard...Ya know. Parvo is a horrible disease for an animal to die of.

I'm 3cm dilated and 90% effaced and just now had "the show" it wasn't bloody it was brown like a light brown the more I kept wiping the more came out. My question is, How long did it take you moms togo into labor when you were already dilating and had the show??

or even celeb rehab. When I see them going though WD on the show...it makes my skin crawl. Ive been doing research on a cullinary school in cali. Thats my goal. Anytime I want a line I think about needing to be clean to make it through school and get a career. Mostly because I used to be so motivated and posative and drugs have taken that away from me.

But when I woke up and used bathroom I had a huge bloody glob of mucus. Bloody show? So that makes me think maybe my body is doing something. Do you think today I'll have him? How long after bloody show does labor normally start?

I went to the hospital this morning scared because i wiped blood , the nurse called it a bloody show..they sent me home because I was only one centimeter open and my contractions weren't strong enough. Do you ladies have any suggestions on how to speed along the process? I just want to see my baby already!

38w1d and jus had my bloody show earlier today and some contractions still far apart could this be it I have delivered all my previous 38w4d.. Trying not to get to excited!

The thing for the bloody show and mucus plug for me was it wasn't what I expected. I expected a SHOW and a PLUG. LOL It just kind of was extra discharge over the course of days for me. I wouldn't say for me, much happened for several days. That your doctor messed with your cervix could result in getting it to start opening a bit more.
