Avatar n tn Without a doubt MikeFlake, Linda needs to go her cardiologist as soon as possible. Conditions have changed and he/she needs to know what is now taking place. In my humble opinion, Linda should operate in such a way as to put "no load" on her heart what's so ever. She really needs to be checked out. If her Doctor is unavailable, take her to the emergency room and bring all of her meds with her. They need to know the type of prescription as well as dosage. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
Avatar n tn I am a type 1 diabetic and for the last 6 months have integrated a fairly strict dietary plan into my life. My two 3 month averages since my changes have been respectively 97.2 & 93.6. Although I am happy with the results I have had confusing disparities regarding my morning blood sugar readings. I take 20 units of lantus before bed, but wake the following morning with results from anywhere between 60 & 144 despite having consistent ideal blood sugar readings after meals.
Avatar n tn 1 hr reached as high as 160. In recent months, after testing, I never had a reading over 135 or so after 1 hr of eating and typically after two hrs my glucose levels would be just below 120 which i understand is normal. Whats with this? I have been under stress w/ home renovations etc ... could stress cause a spike? 2/ I also notice that i am getting more frequent hypoglycemic situations where blood sugar is around 85 or so which again is normal yet i feel lousy. Can you explain this?
Avatar f tn So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
662972 tn?1270166301 She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.
1710194 tn?1308931794 I like Evelyn with Evee as a nickname. It's a classic name and very pretty. I think Dawn Dakota doesn't really flow, maybe Dakota Dawn.
541150 tn?1306033843 I use Dawn dish detergent. My husband doesn’t want to use another type because it removes grease very quickly. We bought gloves but I always forget to wear them. Does anyone have any suggestions on which detergent is better for your hands? I’d really appreciate it!! Really, my hands are destroyed!!!!!
Avatar f tn But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
107366 tn?1305680375 I received a message from Glenn, Linda's husband this morning. Linda had surgery last week to remove some of her intestine. Once the surgeon got in, he found her cancer had spread extensively, and had to remove almost all of her small bowel. She is currently in ICU, but hopes to be moved to regular room sometime today, maybe. She's hoping to be home by the end of the week. Linda and Glenn both can use our prayers.
