Avatar f tn If you're not an adult, the figures would be different. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'5" 117-130 127-141 137-155 You can pretty much determine your frame size by looking at your hands, feet and shoulder width. If those are small for people your height, you'd be small frame, if they are average, medium frame and if larger than most people your size would be large frame.
Avatar f tn Healthy weight range depends on your frame size. Here's a portion of the height/weight chart for women: Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'6" 120-133 130-144 140-159 If you don't know how to tell your frame size, look at your hands/feet; are they considerably smaller/larger than others your height? Are you shoulders narrower/wider? Your weight also depends on muscle mass.
284738 tn?1283110419 I'm 5'9" and have a large frame. I was once much thinner when I was younger, too thin in fact. Everyone is different, but I know that my body type can't get down to tiny sizes. More petite women change sizes faster (with less weight loss) than taller women. Do you carry your weight evenly? I do, I don't put it all on in one place. That also makes it slower to change size.
Avatar f tn Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'3" 111-124 121-135 131-147 If you have a small frame, 115 pounds would be toward the bottom of the range and bordering on underweight. For a medium or large frame, it would definitely be underweight. Your current weight (126.7 lbs) is actually just about perfect for you.
1530342 tn?1405020090 Overweight...REALLY?! I'm 5'5 and I weigh158lbs. That's over weight for my height. I'm 2lbs overweight according to the womens weight chart. I guess trying for a baby isn't gonna make that go down.
Avatar f tn Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'9" 129-142 139-153 149-170 Wow - what a job THAT was. lol Now, to the practical stuff. You are NOT over weight. At 5'9" and 118 pounds, you were significantly underweight for ANY size frame. Even if you have a large frame, you are pretty close to where you should be. I know it might be hard but you need to eat several small meals every day.

Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'6" 120-133 130-144 140-159 I would suggest that you eat a well balanced diet and continue with your exercise.
Avatar f tn I copied just a small portion of a height/weight chart for your particular height. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'5" 117-130 127-141 137-155 You are at the perfect weight for height right now, but if you try to lose weight, you could end up underweight and/or malnourished.
Avatar f tn I'd go with the BMI scale for a decision to determine if you are a small, average or large person of your gender. I believe the range of weight they say a person of a certain height SHOULD be under the BMI, covers about 12 kg and I think this is to cover small to large frame/skeletal size and both genders.
Avatar f tn I've put in a bit of a height/weight chart that would apply to you. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'5" 117-130 127-141 137-155 That said - yes, hormonal changes can cause weight gain, but I don't believe it's true that when a woman hits 30, she automatically gains weight.
Avatar f tn Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 117-130 127-141 137-155 I'd advise you to keep up with your healthy diet, as I, also, know that Zoloft (as well as other antidepressants) can deplete the body of some nutrients.

Avatar f tn For your height, you are actually underweight. I copied a portion of a height/weight chart for you to see what you should actually weigh. I don't know about your frame size (whether you are large boned or more petite).
1083310 tn?1260110882 I checked a height/weight chart and here's what I found for your height -- of course, your age also has something to do with it, but this chart does not consider age. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'2" 108-121 118-132 128-143 I would not advise you losing any weight, since you are already underweight. Good luck.

Avatar m tn Here's a portion of a height/weight chart that would apply to you. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'10" 144-154 151-163 158-180 Depending on your body frame, you might not be overweight. Avatar n tn I put those words in italics because I personally believe that height/weight charts are laughable and it's no way to actually judge whether or not a person is at a healthy weight. I can guarantee that I will never weight 135 LBs. I certainly do need to lose some weight because I am carrying some unhealthy weight but I am one of those people who will never be thin or "height/weight proportionate".
Avatar n tn I have digenerative disc disease and my neirologist just prescribed topamax, he said it would help with the pain and tingling but could result in weight loss. I am wondering if prescribing topamax for ddd is common among neurologists? I can't seem to find any other information related to topamax as a pain med, only information I have is that it's a powerful drug with lots of side effects, most not so good. The weight loss aspect is the only plus...
Avatar f tn Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'3" 111-124 121-135 131-147 Getting down to 115, would make you underweight, again, unless you have a small frame, then, you'd be almost "borderline". Optimal body fat for your age group is 20-28%, so at 22%, you're right where you should be with that as well.
Avatar f tn Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'4" 114-127 124-138 134-151 Be sure that you really need to lose weight. It may be that all you need to do is tone your muscles. For that, yoga is one of the best exercises you can do, plus as ducky says, it helps manage stress.
Avatar m tn Depending on your frame size, you need to lose between 160 and 200 lbs. Here's a bit of a height/weight chart that pertains to you. Avatar f tn for measurement, so you didn't make it real easy for me, but I figured out that 10 stone 3 = 140 lbs.
Avatar n tn That is so wierd , I weighed 135 , or under forever than suddenly hit 170 , gaining weight daily also . I have never been this large in my life . If you find out your cause please let us know ! I cant afford to see a doctor without insurance , so any ADVICE ?

The gainning of weight was not from the lexapro it is from a medicine that I have been steady increasing over the last several months. It is called Lyrica. It helps to numb nerve endings to ease my headaches that I get from damage nerves in my neck.
