heartburn

Avatar f tn To any Pregnant woman who gets a lot of heartburn or a lil restless an uncomfortable specially at night.... Try to take a Magnesium supplement if you don't wanna take to many tums an over the counter medicines. I am 29 Weeks and get a little uncomfortable at night this is my first pregnancy an i don't like taking any over the counter things, I'd rather go all natural... So I got this stuff called CALM.... it's a natural Magnesium supplement and work's great for me!
Avatar f tn You could take antacids that are pregnancy-safe or try a more natural approach. Certain foods also cause heartburn. Like iceberg lettuce, citrus juices, spicy foods, & etc... look it up online.
Avatar f tn This is my first pregnancy and I am 19 weeks and 2 days today, and I get heartburn like crazy! I never got heartburn before getting pregnant. Any natural suggestions on how to ease it? Because it's starting to hurt and even keeping me from sleeping properly at night.
Avatar f tn I started getting heartburn early in my pregnancy. I'm 21 weeks now and still have it. It's gotten a bit worse these past 3 days, as if my stomach and throat are constantly burning. I usually drink milk to help my heartburn and occasionally take tums.
Avatar f tn so zantac really works cuz ive had heartburn thro my pregnancy and im 30 weeks today and the heartburn worse now
Avatar f tn It treats morning sickness and heartburn. It is clinically proven a safe choice with natural ingredients, so you do not have to worry about anything harming the little one.
Avatar f tn I'm 26 weeks 5 days and my doctors have me on modified bed rest to hold off preterm labor (just found out my cervix is a little above 2cm). So yesterday I actually put together my hospital bag just in case. I hope to not need it for a few more weeks but with how my pregnancy has been going you never know.
Avatar f tn I like to go natural and drink milk. I know everybody is different though and it might not work for you. Don't eat to where u get full. Eat a good amount and eat every three hours since it'll be a small amount. I usually have cereal and a banana for breakfast then later a thick slice of cheddar cheese and nuts with grape juice. Etc.
Avatar f tn Hey im almst 10weeks pregnant and have had heartburn 4 last few weeks,i remember getn heartburn late in my last pregnancy but why am i getting it so early this time?
Avatar f tn I'm 32w5d and have been dealing with heartburn most of my pregnancy. I started out taking Tums but those alone didn't help at all. I asked my Dr and she was more than happy to prescribe me some medication...just a small pill that I can swallow with any meal or when I feel it coming on. She also advised me to continue taking at least 2 Tums a day as well, which I do before I go to bed...which is usually when my heartburn is the worst.
Avatar f tn I've heard that taking a tablespoon of honey helps. Good Luck!
Avatar f tn If only id of known this, i suffered with terrible heartburn during my pregnancy :-( its not nice
Avatar f tn Seriously going insane with heartburn and reflux. It never goes away! Tums don't seem to help. Today I didn't eat for like 9 hours, had only water and still...it hung around. What can I do to make it go away or do I just have to live with it?
7280472 tn?1395272714 I'm 24 weeka tomorrow and ive had major heartburn since about 20 weeks. I've tried everything I can think to help it lol, any other suggestions?? NO tums or any safe meds help.
Avatar f tn I had such bad heartburn with my 1st pregnancy and my son came out looking like a troll doll he had 2 inches of long jet black hair over his whole head and down his neck. We had to trim it at 2 months old because it was going in his eyes.
Avatar f tn I have this horrible sore throat caused by heartburn. I was wondering wat kind of medicines would ya use for a sore throat. Also is a little nyquil safe to drink at night for sleep.
10821574 tn?1423536562 Nothing will totally get rid of it. The hormones from pregnancy relax the little flap that keeps the acid down and it bubbles back up. Relief is inky ever temporary. Ginger helps. Peppermint helps.
Avatar n tn Before I got pregnant I had horrible heartburn and I took prescription omeprozol to treat it (forgot how to spell it) and it worked wonders, since I have been pregnant I haven't really had heartburn so I don't know if it's safe to take during pregnancy but I would definitely ask your doctor. If it is safe you can either get it prescribed or over the counter in lower doses at pretty much any store with medicine.
1827365 tn?1410506306 I'll talk to my doctor on our next appointment see if I can take 2 together before going to sleep instead of 1. Thanks! Any of you have tried natural medicine (acupuncture, etc) for heartburn?

Avatar f tn Oml I feel like I'm going to have a rough pregnancy I'm always achey and hurting and is it okay that I've lost 6 pounds off my pre pregnancy weight?
Avatar f tn I'm 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I'm having some Hella bad migraines. I also have terrible sinuses, heartburn and I've been physically sick alot, with a fever and what not. I'm allergic to acetmenaphin(tylenol) which is supposedly the only thing I can take while pregnant. My doctor refuses to write me prescriptions for anything else and tells me to deal with it and there's nothing else like aspirin that I can take. She's very rude.
