When I was 7 months pregnant I was rushed to emergency with severe left flank pain. It was determined that I had kidney stones. Approximately 2 years later, it happened again, only on the right side. There was blood in my urine, my white blood cell count was elevated, and severe pain again. An ultrasound found imflamation, thus my doctor determined I had an infection and was prescribed antibiotics. However, I still have mild (throbbing/aching) flank pain on my right side.
she has been feeling alot of pain around her kidneys and her back. this pain moves around in her abdomenal but now it confined upper her left kidney. we showed her a lot of doctors and they could not find anything, they took computer test (i dont know wat kind of computer test because she lives in an other country) and x-ray test. every test came out negative. my mother say it was like air that moves around before but now it stuck at upper her left kidney.
My doctor just told me to take tums at my last appt. Mines so bad and I actually had to ask if heartburn is really what I'm feeling because I've never experienced it before now. She even said that I should take pepcid if I end up eating to many tums during the day.
I have just had surgery for three Kidney Stones and apparently Lithotripsy has left me with the condition of Costachondritis. My upper right side is very tender and swollen. I look like I'm three months pregnant! I have lots of burps and heartburn, some shortness of breath and constant pian. Sometimes the pain is so bad it cuts my breath off. My doctors have told me that due to having 28 stones now and 10 Lithotripsy procedures, the stomach is aggrivated. Could this be Gallbladder?
To any Pregnant woman who gets a lot of heartburn or a lil restless an uncomfortable specially at night.... Try to take a Magnesium supplement if you don't wanna take to many tums an over the counter medicines. I am not experiencing any unusual abdominal pain although I do have daily pain that I have come accustom to over the years.
My bowel obstructions were caused from becoming septic after the removal of my right kidney almost 8 years ago. I have had the multiple bowel surgeries almost every year since then. However, I have never experienced the troubles I am having now.
I do not take any medication other than high blood pressure medicine three times a day.

ve been experiencing severe cramps in bladder area. So bad it hurts to sit, walk lie down etc. Doctor said it could be a kidney stone but X-ray doesn't show any. Asked about cancer since I get heartburn almost every day, but PSA comes up as 0.01 so I'm told I have no cancer. Doctor then states it's due to reconstruction, but why after 16 months would this now occur? I stopped eating nuts and any roughage so I'm at a loss as to the cause and tired of the constant intense pain.
I am a bit concerned for my health. For the past 2 days I have been having abdominal pain that has been mainly in my lower right side, but as the days have progressed it has spread through both sides of my abdomen and into my back. I have gone to the doctor and they have ordered an ultrasound to check for anything wrong with my gallbladder. However, based on research I have done I am honestly more worried about kidney disease. Should this be something to even be concerned about?
I am 21 year female that has had SEVERAL problems with my stomach. For starters I have severe heartburn problems. I tried every type of medicine that i could afford. I have a lot of problems with my bladder. I cannot drink too many sodas. I have had 2 bladder infections, UTI's and a kidney infection (years 2004-2006) then last August I had a severe pain in my lower right side. I was in the hospital and they thought it was my appendix; however, it was not.
Anyone know of any remedies for heartburn, I've had it all day and I'm tired.
If I sit a certain way (like indian style with my elbows in my lap) or if I am bent over it will hurt worse and I start to sweat. I have had a kidney infection before and the pain feels similar but this is actually worse than the pain from the kidney infection and it hurts more on both sides of the abdomen. A few months ago I went to my doctor the pain was not as bad and it felt like a kidney infection.
I have been getting bad heartburn for nearly 10 years. I was told it was due to general bad diet/exercise/etc, but after sorting a lot of that out it has only got worse. Recently I developed terrible nausea most of the time. Also, I have found myself getting a lot of persistent minor infections, mainly in my gums. Also, acne has started to appear on my face and shoulders. This is not due to a hygeine issue.
My doctor told me he thinks I may have H.

Next day awoke with back pain, which was much more pronounced on the right side. Thought kidney stones initially, urine test, no protein. *Doctor prescribed Ibuprofen.* I took it on occasion, but did not take it unless pain was bad.
Blood test ordered, all liver, panc, kidney function normal. *High White Blood Cell Count* Pain presented now in right side under ribs, with branching pain to center underneath sternum. Seemed to be associated with meals. Often food alleviated pain.
