Yeah I had read an article talking about the MAP bacteria being a possible cause for crohns and colitis. but there was no definate answer. Now when you say "you changed everything" what all did you have to do? did you take any of the MAP antibiotics? i wonder why doctors wouldnt perscribe the MAP antibiotic right off the bat. Five years ago, my left side became numb. I thought I was having a heart attack. Went to hospital and was told I was o.k. My left foot stayed numb for a few days and it went way.
Five years later, I started having tingling and numbness in my left foot again. I thought it was a circulation problem. A few days later, it was my whole left side that numb with pain and tingling. Hi I have a question about Grill Brick ingestion. I opened a new grill brick from its plastic cover next to the grill and table where the bread and buns are cut. Some of the grill brick dust/small particles fell from the plastic on the table and possibly on the grill. If some of the particles from the grill brick got on the food like bread/bun or a burger and someone ingested those particles/grill brick dust would they be ok?
the next day my father called the doctor to see if they got the results but no one answered, he then called the next day which would be thursday and no one answered again. well that very same day my father had a heart attack. Hi, im an 18 year old female I weigh about 160, my mother & sister has high blood pressure, other than that no family heart issues/attacks. For the past 4 days my left arm (upper) and my left coller bone has been aching, I wouldn't say pain.. its more like pulling a muscle feeling and also my left side of my neck, it can really feel it if I lean forward.
Hi Judy- very interesting question. You have mentioned several issues and I will address them separately.
1. Stress cardiomyopathy (CM)/"heart attack" - We see this quite often. Stress CM has several other names - "Tako Tsubo"/"broken heart"/apical-ballooning CM. It refers to a condition where (mostly) women develop chest pain after suffering some sort of emotional or physical stress, and the EKG and blood work suggest a significant heart attack.

The good news is there is no damage to your heart muscle, which means the things you read on the internet do not apply to you. Those statistics normally relate to people who have dead heart muscle from a heart attack. Your latest echo proves your muscle is fine.
You seem surprised that this has happened at your age. It is becoming more common now. When I was 46 I had my first blockage, but others were seen during the angiogram which had been there for many years.
