Avatar n tn This may be a really silly question, but what are/were your favorite meals to eat while pregnant? I'm having a difficult time planning healthy lunches and dinners that have some variety (I can only eat so much grilled chicken). This is my first pregnancy and I am only six weeks along. I'm worrying I am not eating as healthy as I should be. I'm constantly hungry and looking for some good recommendations.
2020005 tn?1628125976 I can do great exercising, I really push myself to get it done, my down fall is seriously eating healthy. I can eat healthy all day long, then at the end of the day cave completely. I can't let myself ignore my hunger breastfeeding or my supply will completely diminish. I've been eating a good breakfast, good lunch, a snack between lunch and dinner, and then dinner, and a snack later on. I'm having SUCH a hard time eating healthily.

Avatar f tn Can you not just eat healthy balanced meals around 1000-1200 calories and do HCG and lose the weight? I have ben on every diet known to man and am 51 years old. I know I have damaged my metabolism. I don't believe in eating less than the calories I listed above. So would it be possible to eat healthy, no fried foods, white flour or white pastas, no sugars.

Avatar f tn Breastfeeding burns an extra 500 calories a day as it is. Dieting is not an option. Eating frequent HEALTHY small meals and snacks is honestly your best bet. If you look on the internet and type in something along the lines of "meal plans for breastfeeding moms" then a whole bunch of info should pop up for you. Example meal and snack menus will also pop up to give you an idea of what and how often you should be eating.
Avatar m tn go big is right ,exercise ,healthy eating ,7 to 8 hours of sleep a night will make a big difference .it may take time before you can sleep that long .

1246367 tn?1271225330 You sound like you are really struggling with your issues and hanging on by your teeth. Food is not the enemy. Planning, cooking and eating healthy and satisfying meals is part of recovery. Are you completely off sugar? Sugar is very addictive and until you have at least a month completely off, you will crave it. For many people, white flour specifically and carbs in general can also be addictive so try and limit these things and eat fresh vegies, fruits, and protein.
Avatar n tn t just randomly skip meals though... Ideally, you should pick a 6-8 hr window and keep your eating within that window each day. You must also make sure that the meals you do eat contain the nutrients you need to be healthy.
959034 tn?1253671476 taking just a couple of bites of a healthy food is better than not eating at all. I find eating a larger breakfast does best for me - but that's not true for everyone. If I eat a large, healthy breakfast, I'm less hungry for other meals AND I have the advantage of using up the calories throughout the day............ I don't know what time you get up, go to bed or what your schedule during the day is.
Avatar f tn t painic, you will read all kinds of scary information out there, but if you fail you will visit a ditatiion who will help you make meals plans and teach you about what your body wants to balance protein, sugar and carbs. As long as you followthe meal plan and be healthy, your odds of having a normal pregnancy are excellent.

Avatar n tn 18years old and 11st, ive never been happy with my weight, im only 4ft 11 so all this weight doesnt look good because im so small, ive tried everything to loose weight, I used to be bulimic, tried to starve myself but I just love food too much, I would eat salads but the only vegetables I like is potatos carrots and peas so eating healthy isnt exactly easy for me because I dont like veg, ive tried to enjoy it but im just a fussy eater.

Avatar f tn Ohhh yeah I saw that one. LOL. It was gross. And it just so happened to be on when I was eating dinner and I was like EWWWW!!! Not while Im eating! Honestly most of those frozen healthy meals I really don't eat (none of them appeal to me) except for the pizzas.

Avatar f tn I didnt eat alot due to that. Try to snack healthy through out the day and avoid large meals. It helped me alot. I didnt start eating everything until 34 weeks. I am now 37 weeks and my baby weighs 5 lb 11 oz. Which is on the smaller side. Try to make sure u get all of ur vitamins and nutrients. Talk to ur dr. About ur diet.
Avatar f tn I started eating healthy and it lasted a while. Im now 27 weeks and eating how I did before I got pregnant. All I crave is cherry poptarts and sweets so I limit myself but it still is all high calorie and does nothing for you. I will tell you I gained weight more quickly when I started eating junk again but total i have gained 19lbs.
