Avatar n tn This may be a really silly question, but what are/were your favorite meals to eat while pregnant? I'm having a difficult time planning healthy lunches and dinners that have some variety (I can only eat so much grilled chicken). This is my first pregnancy and I am only six weeks along. I'm worrying I am not eating as healthy as I should be. I'm constantly hungry and looking for some good recommendations.
2020005 tn?1628125976 I can do great exercising, I really push myself to get it done, my down fall is seriously eating healthy. I can eat healthy all day long, then at the end of the day cave completely. I can't let myself ignore my hunger breastfeeding or my supply will completely diminish. I've been eating a good breakfast, good lunch, a snack between lunch and dinner, and then dinner, and a snack later on. I'm having SUCH a hard time eating healthily.

Avatar f tn Can you not just eat healthy balanced meals around 1000-1200 calories and do HCG and lose the weight? I have ben on every diet known to man and am 51 years old. I know I have damaged my metabolism. I don't believe in eating less than the calories I listed above. So would it be possible to eat healthy, no fried foods, white flour or white pastas, no sugars.

Avatar n tn t just randomly skip meals though... Ideally, you should pick a 6-8 hr window and keep your eating within that window each day. You must also make sure that the meals you do eat contain the nutrients you need to be healthy.
959034 tn?1253671476 taking just a couple of bites of a healthy food is better than not eating at all. I find eating a larger breakfast does best for me - but that's not true for everyone. If I eat a large, healthy breakfast, I'm less hungry for other meals AND I have the advantage of using up the calories throughout the day............ I don't know what time you get up, go to bed or what your schedule during the day is.

Avatar f tn Ohhh yeah I saw that one. LOL. It was gross. And it just so happened to be on when I was eating dinner and I was like EWWWW!!! Not while Im eating! Honestly most of those frozen healthy meals I really don't eat (none of them appeal to me) except for the pizzas.
Avatar f tn I didnt eat alot due to that. Try to snack healthy through out the day and avoid large meals. It helped me alot. I didnt start eating everything until 34 weeks. I am now 37 weeks and my baby weighs 5 lb 11 oz. Which is on the smaller side. Try to make sure u get all of ur vitamins and nutrients. Talk to ur dr. About ur diet.
Avatar f tn I started eating healthy and it lasted a while. Im now 27 weeks and eating how I did before I got pregnant. All I crave is cherry poptarts and sweets so I limit myself but it still is all high calorie and does nothing for you. I will tell you I gained weight more quickly when I started eating junk again but total i have gained 19lbs.
Avatar f tn Snack on good healthy stuff. When I felt this way I was eating because I felt as if I were starving! Like I had not just eaten soup and was full for five minutes. Snack, don't eat. Focus on your three main meals, or eat six little meals. Mine went away in the 18th week. I gained weight because I ate, because I was starving. People say "you take eating for two too literally" uhm, no. I was hungry. STARVING! But snack. Don't eat. Lol. You should be fine!

I also know that losing your appetite can be a sign that your pregnancy is nearing the end ;) This time around, I'm at 17 weeks and just gained my appetite a couple of days ago. Before that I hated food and battled monstrous morning (24/7) sickness. It's strange wanting to eat evetything in site, lol!!!

Avatar f tn Eat healthy food instead of non healthy such as maybe a good sized chicken breast, tons of veggies and brown rice, or an omlet pavked with veggies and some avocado. I maintained my weight after I lost about 70 lbs and have been eating like this with some bad days sinceiI've gotten pregnant and so far have gained 20lbs which my doctor says is due to my baby and all my water weight since I'm so swollen. Just eat healthy hun and you should be fine.
