These same tame Republicans that Berkeley keeps on exhibit have been bleating and whining for weeks about the extra $10,000 or so the university wanted them to pay for the security at a hate speech provocation event. Avatar n tn Hi. I am a 25 year old male - 6'0" and 205 lbs. I am a 3rd year phd student at UC Berkeley so over the past few years I have had many highly stressful situations, and am under a constant amount of stress day to day. For a few days now I have been having a slight "stinging" or "burning" feeling that comes and goes in the left-upper side of my chest (definately centered over the heart area). Am I at risk of having a heart attack? I don't eat well.

Subjects under the influence of power, he found in studies spanning two decades, acted as if they had suffered a traumatic brain injury—becoming more impulsive, less risk-aware, and, crucially, less adept at seeing things from other people’s point of view.

Avatar f tn I'm scheduled for RAI on Friday, and I've read from the forum that you have to sign a waiver. Why? The Doctor has insisted it's safe so what will I be signing a waiver for? Has anyone that is a member of this forum that had the RAI treatment gotten cancer? Can I accidently kill my cat? When I had the scan the first time I threw up, even though they said I shouldn't have. I lost my job and I will only have insurance for 3 more months.

Avatar m tn Agree with Joe. I'd be asking your doctor why the long delay in scheduling and getting approval. The insurance carrier might not be able to give you specific information until they have your diagnosis codes from your doctor. But that wouldn't keep me from calling your health insurance rep and asking anyway. It really is important to take the time to find a doctor responsive to your needs. Good luck getting started soon.

Avatar f tn Like someone else said , the ONLY way to know how your insurance works and what is covered is to call your insurance and ask about your specific policy. I worked for a major health insurance company for years and the biggest mistake you can make is not calling them in advance. I also recommend finding out what options you have for permanent coverage for your baby.
