Common Questions and Answers about Hcg hormone diet irregular periods

hormone

Avatar f tn Hormone fluctuations, increased stress levels, changes in diet, weight changes are all causes of irregular periods. If you normally have a regular cycle and suddenly miss a period, these are things to consider. I would still recommend speaking with your doctor. He or she can help you figure what is going on and help you get your cycle back on track. I hope this helps.
846905 tn?1258817444 A year ago, I suffered a miscarriage at 14 weeks of pregnancy. Afterwards, I started having panic attacks. I have always had irregular periods, very painful and sometimes making me vomit.. more when i was younger. My doctor was starting to think I wasnt ovulating, so she ordered my blood to be tested for FSH, which came back normal. Next, we are checking for progesterone.
Avatar f tn Stress both physical and mental, irregular sleeping hours and diet poor in nutrition can all cause the periods to become irregular in a girl who started her periods less than 3 years ago. Try to regularize your routine and see. Eat a balanced diet and do something like yoga or meditation or listen to music to distress yourself. However, if such bleeding persists from period to period or is very prolonged in a single cycle, you can consult a gynecologist about this.

Avatar m tn After taking those tablets, for the next 3 months I have got regular periods but again from fourth month onwards my period goes irregular ....it starts bleeding for more than 15 days ......please tell me what should I do to make my period regular???whether I again want to consult a doctor??
Avatar f tn Hello, The cause of irregular periods could be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, chronic illness, polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid gland disorders or diseases, pituitary gland tumors or cyst, galactorrhea, prolactinomas etc. You should consult a gynecologist and get examined and investigated as soon as possible to know the exact cause of all these episodes.
Avatar n tn I am 21 and ever since I have started having periods I never had them exactly on time, as in 28 days. On average the length of my cycle was 30-35 days until the year before last when I first experienced a 45-day cycle but it was normal again from the following month. After about 9 months I had a similar delay after which it was normal again for another 3 months until last month when I started bleeding 9 days later than the due date.

Avatar f tn i would say that it definitely down to the way u have been eating/ not eating that has something to do with your periods, i have been on a diet since jan an it really messed my periods up, thats why i was so shocked to find out i was pregnant but also really happy.
Avatar f tn Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and its presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy. I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar f tn I had ectopic pregnancy on last september.after that my periods were irregular (short cycles from 17 to 25days).2 months before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and after taking medicine I guess my periods were coming back on track (17 days cycle became 25days on last month).my periods was on 16th march.on March 25th I had cramps(I hope that was ovulation cramps,I don't know exactly).
Avatar n tn stress, medications, changes in hormone levels, poor diet, an illness, etc... If you aren't sexually active and you haven't missed more than 3 months of having periods, then you shouldn't be worried right now. Try not to worry too much about it, because stress is a big factor when it comes to delayed periods.
Avatar f tn I have irregular periods but I have been regular for 4 months.. I'm now late with cramps on my left side?? Could I be pregnant?? CD42..
Avatar f tn I also have a slightly underactive thyroid which i take medication for. Over the last year and a half my periods have been irregular. Sometimes lasting 5 weeks with heavy flow and then not arriving for 8 weeks. Over the course of the last 4 months i have began a healthy eating diet and have lost 4 stones in weight. Over this period i have been spotting between periods and after sex there is bleeding.
552173 tn?1282603290 In pregnancy, the growing tissues of the new conception (early fetus) secrete a special hormone into your body called ‘human Chorionic Gonadotrophin’ (HCG). This enters your blood as early as one week following fertilisation. You can do home urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your due periods date.Confirmation of pregnancy is done by ultrasonography or serum beta HCG. Avatar n tn My periods have been completely irregular since coming off the pill in June 2015 (over 10 months ago) as i was on it for over 12 years. My doctor advised that this is completely normal and it can take time for your periods to become regular again (and some never do!). It is still possible to get pregnant if you're ovulating despite the irregular periods. So it could be the same for you (I.e.
Avatar f tn This is always frustrating. I know you say unmarried but are you sexually active? If so, rule out pregnancy. But otherwise, any woman at any time can go through an irregular time in her cycle. I sure did in my 20's! I got periods every 3 to 4 months for a year and a half. For me, I had a combination of two things going on. First, I had too much estrogen production (hormone imbalance) and a slow thyroid, secondly. Without intervention, both resolved for me.
Avatar n tn Also the routine the girl maintains during this time, her diet and family history of settling into a regular cycle of periods plays an important role. Stress both physical and mental, irregular sleeping hours and diet poor in nutrition can all cause the periods to become irregular in a girl who started her periods less than 3 years ago. Try to regularize your routine and see. Eat a balanced diet and do something like yoga or meditation or listen to music to distress yourself.
Avatar f tn I have irregular periods up to 3-5,6 months late. Im 18 living with my fiance and we have unprotective sex for the past 8 months and i have not been able to conveive, the last time i had my period was the last week of june and have not had it since, im afraid that i am unable to concive, what can possibly be wrong? Avatar m tn I am 50 years of age so I know a few things. Irregular periods are not uncommon. My cycle begins for 3 days...goes away completely for 2 or more days and then starts again to complete a 5-7 day cycle. Go to the doctor if it lasts more than 8-10 days or if you have pains other than your normal menstrual cramps. It is always better to know. Even if you are inactive now you seem to be saying that there is history. Take a deep breath and get the HIV test. Peace and be well jenny130012.
Avatar m tn My girlfriend missed her periods for almost 4 months and she is having irregular periods yesterday she went to a doctor about the missing periods and couple of blood tests were done and i got those results. Does these reports ring any bells of pregnancy or could this be some other problem with her periods. Avatar f tn PCOS usually starts at puberty and is associated with irregular periods and other hormone related symptoms. The most concerning issues with PCOS are the increase of infertility, the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and the higher risk of developing endometrial (uterine) cancer at an early age. Your challenge is that PCOS is a systemic, complex disorder that needs to be actively managed by you for the rest of your life.
