As you may already know, HCG is the "pregnancy hormone". It hasn't been thoroughly studied in breastfeeding moms, and therefore can't be considered "safe".
Also, generally it is not considered to be a good idea to lose weight too quickly while breastfeeding.
Your best bet is to discuss the medication with your doctor.

There is no reason that this should be harmful, as it is a natural pregnancy hormone. HCG is used to support the pregnancy until the placenta(s) develop. I suspect that your doctor will stop the injections around week 12 of the pregnancy, at the same time the progesterone injections are stopped.
These hormones are helpful and natural--no reason for concern.

From what I read, the original HCG treatment consisted of daily shots of that hormone plus an extreme diet of 500 calories, and there was no medical evidence that it worked. It got popular (as fad diets do) and now they sell homeopathic (oral) versions of the hcg that have unknown ingredients and doses. Fad diets don't work and are dangerous for diabetics. I know it is hard to lose weight at your mother's age.
Is it safe to dance as form of exercise? I'm 21+5 ftm sorry if it may sound like a stupid question to some people. I just want to be safe n not put harm to my baby.
Since they use HCG for infertility it makes sense. There is so much breast cancer today. Taking HCG to diet is taking a big risk because you just don't know if you have the cancer cells in your breast or even possibly in your uterus. It grew so fast it went into my lymph nodes which can be quite dangerous because then it can invade anywhere else in your body. Just wanted send out a warning.
From what I know, the second line will get more and more noticeable if you take one every few days when you are pregnant, because every day your body is creating more hCG (the hormone in your body when pregnant). The line may be faint because your hCG levels are low still. Take another test in a few days; even if the second line is still kinda faint, I would take it as a positive and schedule an appointment with your doctor.
I'm going to guess that you are right. There's a very strict diet that goes along with hcg diet, which I don't believe is good under any circumstances, but with your lupus the diet could have serious effects.
My daughter has lupus - I'd rather see her a bit over weight.
About a year and a half ago I took a hormone called hcg sublingually for weight loss purposes. After wards I began to suffer terrible symptoms such as bone pain, pain everywhere, tingling, numbness, and loss if sensation through out my body. The diet also suggests that you eat less than 800 calories a day. I should also add that I was a vegetarian for 3 years before then, but began eating fish around the time of the diet.
