having a yeast infection during labor

It is very common to keep a yeast infection and Bacteria Vaginosis (BV) during pregnancy. With the boost in hormones everything is thrown off such as your PH balance. My doctor was saying even what we eat, stress and sex could throw it off...the slightest things. So don't worry just keep your doctor informed because both can attribute to preterm labor.

Ive been battling yeast infections,my dr says their super common during pregnancy, but my question iswhat happens if i have one during labor? Will it effect my baby somehow?

If I go into labor and I have a uti or a yeast infection will I still be able to deliver vaginally or will I have to have a c section. Any of you ladies know???

I know I did end up having a urinary infection and a yeast infection sometime after seeing the discharge because I never told anybody. Could be a yeast infection from the meds. Antibiotics normally will cause yeast. Are you sfill active with partner(s)? You could be getting reinfected. Did you complete treatment as directed? If so Dr will give you stronger medicine.

I don't think so. I had a yeast infection and uti and the doctor never mention that it could hurt the baby.

My husband and I never stopped! We only are taking a week of now because I got a yeast infection and the cream is bad if he got it on him.

I just got done with both of those infections and it drove me crazy but its very common in pregnancy I never used the monistat 7 while pregnant but I don't cause pre term labor but the infection can well that's what I was told so it has to be treated as soon as possible

Antibiotics will not get rid of a yeast infection. They can cause a yeast infection actually. Your doctor can prescribe Diflucan (not sure if I spelled that right) but it's a pill you take one time and your your yeast infection will be gone in 2 days.

Ok so I had a miscarriage at 12 jan5,2016 since then I have had this odor every month around nature's call or during,i had went back to the dr he said a yeast infection. You might have a yeast infection, which is perfectly normal during pregnancy. If your mucus plug actually fell out that means you'll be in labor soon. My mom's fell out when she was pregnant with me and the next day I believe she went into labor. Look up the symptoms for yeast infection to see if any apply to you. Also let your doctor know just in case.

I got a yeast infection mid cycle, after bding. DH is having no problems, so not from him. Is there any other reason for this? Can it be that my body is just not accepting his swimmers? Thanks for any thoughts.

I am being treated for a UTI right now, have had BV and a yeast infection already this pregnancy! UTI's aren't a concern unless they get REALLY bad. Being on antibiotics will stop it from progressing, then you won't have to worry about preterm labor. All kinds of infections are VERY common while pregnant, so don't stress, drink lots and lots of water, take your medicine, and you'll be fine!

Dont wait... i did that before it got worst. Go to the ER or L&D tell them you have a very bad yeast infection. They'll do a pap to make sure its just that and not a UTI give u meds... and send u on your way.

But now I want to get an IUD, and I am wondering if the IUD can be inserted during the presence of a yeast infection? I know certain infections are contraindications, but are yeast infections? I don't think they can spread to the cervix/uterus.

My doc usually calls me in terconazole goo, he said the diflucan or fluconazole pill isnt allowed during pregnancy which ***** because having a yeast infection isnt bad enough,add dealing with the goo treatment to it.

I have several questions about the treatment of a yeast infection. I was prescribed diflucan to take two times within 5 days of each other. I did not have any symptoms of a yeast infection - other than I was having pain during sex, so therefore I refrained from intercourse with my boyfriend until I seen a doctor.

sorry guys if tmi. i got a yeast infection from a antibiotic just before i fell pregnant and fell pregnant while treating it with canestan 7 day cream. it didnt go away and it keeps getting worse. i have used the 7 day cream about 5 times now with no help only relief from the itching and painful sex for about 2 days after i finished the treatment. i have had it my entire pregnancy and im 18 weeks now.

-) it would stink to spend money on all that yeast infection stuff if you just need some antibiotics.

What's a safe not medication I can use to treat a yeast infection? I heard keeping the area dry is best, but I also heard baby powder and cornstarch aren't good to use.
