is glipizide 10mg the same as glyburide 5mg / because my husband was drinking the gyburide and when we went for the new prescription it had changed to glipizide and he hasn't felt good since the change do i call his doctor

I also take 500mg metformin after a meal(breakfast and dinner) and was advised to take 5mg glipizide before meals (breakfast and lunch) but sometimes I measure my bs before and notice it's sometimes 70-90 . A little about me: I don't eat at regular intervals, I don't snack , I have 3 meals a day . Wake up at 530 go to work, eat breakfast at 9 and then my lunch around 12 , dinner between 5-630. I was recently tried on Zoloft and I thought the side effects I was having were withdrawls from my Effexor and new side effects from the Zoloft ... but it turned out I am allergic to the Zoloft and was having a reaction to it!

these effects last about 22 hours and subside just before the next dose, and then come again about an hour after I take lisinopril would it be safe to switch back to 5mg as the effects are less severe or should I talk to my PCP about a different BP med.

Currently taking glipizide for high blood sugar, but is causing side effects. Weight gain, extreme low blood sugar, restless sleep. What can I take instead that will not affect the liver?

In addition he was also given medication for Diabetes Type II, metformin 850 mg, glipizide 5mg, lisinopril 5 mg, simvastatin 20mg, Asprin 81 mg, Ranitidine 150 mg. The withdrawals are horrific. After my surgery I worked with pain management doctor to wean me off Opana ER 10mg (2x's/day). They put me on 5mg pills (2x's/day) for 5 days, then I was to drop to 1 5mg pill for 5 days and then quite completely. Told me that with weaning my withdrawal symptoms would be minimal. Wrong!

Hello, I was seen in the ER today for a migraine and they gave me a mixture of compazine, benadryl, toradol and a steroid through an IV. I was wondering what possible side effects I may encounter.

I want to know if I can simply stop the medication as I feel these may be possible side effects without suffering too much more?

However recently I have noticed that the color of my blood (taken to test blood sugar) is a distinct chocolate-brown color similar to whenever I have had to use Nitro tabs/patches for angina attacks. I have also been affected by regular bouts of diarrhea. Are these side effects to be concerned about given the somewhat more beneficial effects and if so what could I do about them? I am in week 4 of the Olysio/Sovaldi combo therapy and am disappointed at the side effects I'm experiencing.
