For the last 4 days i have had nasuea, dark green diarreha, very tired and have had a headache the whole time. I started a new prescription to quite smoking I started 14 days ago called champix and am on aticand for high blood pressure. I was not sure if it was the new prescription but I am not sure.
For proper evaluation, you will need to consult your primary care physician, who will do a stool analysis to determine the cause. For the chronic diarrhea, if the stool culture showed a growth it is an infective pathology otherwise non infective pathologies like inflammatory bowel diseases or growths have to be considered.

I have been diagnosed with gastritis and gal stones as being the root of the problems. This morning I went to the bathroom and my stool was green and brown in color, but some was coated in a yellow liquid. Should I be concerned? I'm going to the Dr. on Monday, but I was wondering if there was an urgent need to go on in?
I'm taking 2 prilosec(20mg) everyday, and last night i took a bentyl(20mg).
r n they did blood work n a ultrasound which came back normal. I was think gallbladder stones idk.. So doctor diagnose me with gastroenteritis prescribe me pain killers. N next morning with the dull pain that comes n goes. Ouch! Is it normal???? Im scared im praying to god to please let it not be nothing else..
A day or two after this weekend I had a bout of diarrhea for 24 hours, and for the next week and a half was producing green stool, thin stool and broken stool. Along with this grumbling stomach I was very fatigued and 'brain-fogged'. After this week and a half I appeared to return to normal, however still a little bit foggy for 2 weeks.

I sat there for a minut and starting passing a stool. I suddenly got light headed, started sweating and vomited everywhere. I vomited until every last morsel of food was gone. Then pooped so much it filled my entire toilet. specialist he ruled out the collitis and said it was gastroenteritis he told me to continue the levaquin i was prescribed. its been about a month now and my stool varies with every deffacation from semi hard to pure liquid to very loose im wondering how i can repair this and get back to normal. i also have had pains in my lower left abdominal region almost like i am constipated but even after a bowel movement it it still there.

I am 33 weeks and around the same time I had green stool. It's actually perfectly normal and means you must be eating more iron or salad or greens. Usually green stool is a good sign. But you can check with you doctor if you're concerned. I had it though and it went away about a week later.
Second we usually think of healthy stool being brown but stool is actually green before its brown due to bile being in the small intestine and as the green stool passes thru the large intestine over time it turns Brown. So If your stool was green ir could mean that it just passed thru the intestine too quickly for it to turn Brown. Its happend to me many many times. Hope that answers your question!
Why is my stool green? I will be 50 years old shortly. I am on no medications and have no health problems that I am aware of. Periodically, (like once last year & then a couple of times this month) my stool is grass green, usual normal consistency, & stays that way for a few days. What would cause this?
Usually green stool is an indication that you are getting a lot of chlorofyl in your system from green vegetables, and shouldn't be a concern. But, (and pardon my being so graphic) does your stool float, too?
This is a sign of giardia, which you can pick up from your dog, cat, handling shoes that were in a watery area outside, just about anywhere. If this persists, and/or if the stool is green and floats, you will need to see a doctor for a diagnosis and a pill that will knock it out.
the more you have in you, the more your body can push out whatever its not liking. the most common causes of green stool are food coloring and excess fiber, but it does depend on what kind of green youre talking about. if its very slimy and not like normal diarrhea, its most likey bile, stomach acids, etc. if its an acceptable consistency, looks like youd expect it to, and just tinted, its most likely fiber or food colorings.
