I was wondering how many of Chiarian sufferers can wear and walk in high heels?

I have to wear high heels for work but they like constantly give me awful blisters where the shoe rubs against the bare skin on the back of my heel and I'm always having to cover my feet in bandaids... is there a better solution? I've tried a few different brands of high heels, and like a few different half-sizes up or down and while some are more comfortable than others, I still somehow get blisters everytime.

Hi ladies! What are your takes on wearing high heels during pregnancy? I'm 24 weeks and wear 2-inch heels regularly. My back hasn't been unusually achy and my balance hasn't changed since before I was pregnant.

I have a weddi g coming up and i have high heels i never wear. Not huge 2 inch. My problem , i cant walk in them lol i look like i hippo and sound like a bull when i walk. Any of you have tips on how to walk in them amd get use to the discomfort? I seem a woman on tv runnimg in 3 inchers. Blew me away!

Hi Dixy, First you have to remember its not just tendons but all your nerves run under your foot, but does sound like a bruised tendon, the best thing is ice it and take it easy.

Though I do not have close experience with them, z-coil shoes have built in orthotic devices and allegedly these can be adjusted for individual variations in the shape of the foot. Shoes that raise the heels without adjusting the level of the front part of the foot are not advised.

Hi pleeeez pleeez help me I am 27 yrs of age perfectly healthy until 2 yrs ago where I woz in a incident where I missed a step from 1 ft high and fell on to my right ankle and fell over with a lot of pain especially near the posterior tibial tendon and the navicular bone.

It's worse on the outside from my ankle down to my arch. I have high arches. Pain feels better when I wear shoes. Otherwise, it is sometimes shooting and very tender, like I bruised or sprained my ankle. Sometimes touching it in a certain place sends a shooting pain. I am on my feet all day. The simplest reason of a generalized ankle pain is sprain—like in wearing high heels, twisting your ankle etc. Since there is swelling on inner side this is where ligament tear could have happened. Since it is on the side of your toe or foot, you may have the start of a bunion. Are you wearing high heels or shoes that pinch your toes (pointed toed shoes)?? I have had bunions on both feet, and this is kind of how they began. Needless to say, I do not advocate high heels OR pointed toed shoes. If your shoes are not fitting properly, they can create many painful problems. Make an appointment and have it checked before it gets any worse.

for about 5 months my heels have been very sensitive (on both feet) it feels like the skin is tearing. I have to elevate my feet at the ankles and not let my heels touch anything -- just be surrounded by air. Plantar fasciitis, arthritis of small joints, diabetic neuropathy, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, over weight, deep vein thrombosis, wrong foot wear, gout, etc are a few causes of sore feet with heel pain. A high ESR by itself is not diagnostic. You need other tests too. Please consult a rheumatologist and an orthopedic specialist. Take care!
