Avatar n tn You may be getting too much estrogen or hormones. This is mainly in processed or fast foods. Once you cut down, they will revert to normal. Also, look at the labels of certain shampoos. Anything with Sodium Laureth Sulfate (although most shampoos have this) has estrogen. But please do some research on Sodium Laureth Sulfate before quitting.

However, I still get run down and tired very easily and it takes a toll on my quality of life (that said, prior to starting thyroid meds i had horrible headaches, 0 energy, muscle spasms and my digestion was horrible for about 5-7 years. Avatar f tn ve always used protection so i have no idea if i would have fertility issues. when i was in my late teens i stated getting facial hair and hair below my belly button. also my body hair in general is a bit more course then other ladies. for instance the hair on my legs is a bit thicker. i have to shave my legs every day. so like i said i have excess hair on my face (which i control pretty will vith vaniqa) and i have hair under my belly button.

When my endo doc ran the TPO antibody test he also checked my testosterone levels and they have come back high. Does the thyroid cause all these other imbalances as well? My endo suggested peri menopause because of the Hashimoto's and I have all the symptoms but afraid that it is just the thyroid messing everything up.

She follows an Atkins type diet - eats mostly rice, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, protein and fats. It's a boring diet, but for her, it's worth it.
