x-rays,cat scans,three different doctors and waiting fo number four doctor to make appointment.He is supposed to shoot me with water and alcohol in the inguinal tube to supposedly kill that nerve? wished I had my hernia back and that doctor had that mesh mess sewn to his nuts! Note this sewing or stiching the inguinal tube happens to about 1 out 1000 times per mesh operation,only to make life hell for a long time for the few. Hope you find relief soon.

It would be better to get prostrate examination done by a urologist and take opinion for surgery for resolving these symptoms. I would suggest that you get a urine analysis with culture done. Also a physical examination with a urologist would be prefferable. What is the indication for using alpha blockers? They can be used for BPH. Sometimes BPH itself can cause retention of urine and infection there by in the tract. Consult your doctor and discuss the possibilities. All the best.

My neurologist recently put me on a Detrol LA for a week, then had me add Flomax. I noticed a slight improvement with the Detrol, but when I added the Flomax things urinary got dramatically better. Simon, I tried a lot of the stuff I saw online. Olive Oil , Lemon Juice (like 20 fricken Lemons) nothing "shrunk" it. Your urologist will tell you if it's "passable" or not and if you have any blockage. What did help me was sleeping on the opposite side of the stone those days I felt the best when I let gravity help . Set a timer for an hour and have 8oz glass of water ready and drink it, if you feel up to it work out. Dont sit around.
