could anyone give me ideas as to where or who i would contact to get some patient assistance for acute hep c treatment? I am not working, cannot wait on s.s. disability. I try to do some construction work when available, but it is really rough.

Thanks for writing in. Prostatitis is usually not a side effect of use of flomax, indeed it can happen due to BPH, for which flomax is used as treatment. It would be better to get prostrate examination done by a urologist and take opinion for surgery for resolving these symptoms.
Choice of antibiotics depends upon the kind of organism affecting the prostrate.

Probably not, since the phacoemulsification handpiece still has to be used to aspirate the cataract. A potential advantage of the femtosecond laser is that it will soften the hard nucleus, and allow it to be emulsified or aspirated more easily. Not everyone who is on or who has taken Flomax develops IFIS (intraoperative floppy iris syndrome), but it occurs with the fluid currents in the eye during the emulsification of the cataract nucleus, or the irrigation-aspiration of the cortex.
I also have varicose veins on my scrotum. They are all on just the left side of my scrotum. Is this unusual? What would cause them to pop up on the scrotum? They do bleed occasionally and it is embarrassing to have blood stains on the crotch of your pants. Is there anything I can do to help prevention of the bleeding?
Plus is there any way of hiding them? It is kinda embarassing when at the gym in the showers and you have these purple bumps all over one side of your scrotum.
I just read a question posted about 10 years ago from a patient concerned about pain upon orgasm which he developed about 3 years after having had a prstatectomy. I am experiencing the same problem which started occuring about 3 1/2 yars after having had the surgery. Since the original question was posted some time ago, I was wondering if any studies have been done as to the cause of this problem and if there are any effective treatments available.
1) If a doctor is aware of the fact that a patient is or has been on Flomax, can he change his normal operational procedures to cope with this contingency?
2) Will it effect the YAG procedure?
3) My right eye is very bad, I have hardly any vision in it, everything is a blur if I close my left eye, I am scheduled to have the YAG treatment in 5 days time.
Flomax can reduce the amouht of seman that you produce. It would be unusual though to have this production reduced down to zero unless the man was ejaculating very often. In general terms Flomax is a useful medication with very few side-effects..
, where normal for him means slow urination due to long standing BHP, but not as slow, painful, and dribbling as with Flomax. We are just guessing that the way Flomax works by relaxing muscles is causing these effects. (Could the enlarged prostate end up pressing even more on muscles?? I realize these are just guesses: I have looked at a lot of medical sites, but this does not look like to be listed as a side effect!
light headness after cataract surgery and Dr was told about Flomax of which I am still on 2 years later
He takes 5 mg blood pressure med and he takes Flomax daily. When he first started taking Flomax; which he needs to be able to urinate or as he says to keep his plumbing working, anyway, he would have dizzy spells. His doctor said this was normal, a side effect of Flomax. But now lately he has been passing out; I think that is unusual for any medication and I'm worried there may be something else going on.
Can flomax have impact on your sleeping behavior.
Visit with URO was routine, said that he had no doubt that I had prostatitis and that the penis tip burning was a sure sign, he did exam said inflamed. Put me on flomax, no acidic foods or drinks for 30 days. I followed 30 days with little improvement. Next visit did not go well with this doctor, I did not feel confident in him.
I found new URO,he did exam said prostate was inflamed. Cipro 500mg 2xd, Ibuprofen 800mg 3xd and Uroxatrol 10mg 1xd for 30d.
