Avatar f tn ve been having lower back pain and weird headaches for a few weeks now. My urinating has decreased even thought I have upped my fluid intake. When I urinate, my vision gets blury around the edges, and it feels almost like I'm floating. It sort of feels like my heart is hammering, even though my pulse is normal, and I don't know what it is.
Avatar f tn If my husband should keep hydrated to prevent fainting when its very hot outside, he'd really have a problem. He has a bladder problem which stems back to his prostate problem. He'd be in the bathroom constantly. As it is he is in here every hour and still has urine retention which greatly effects his comfort level. Urologist isn't doing much to help him. Do people with MS have to use catheters as a rule, or is this a unusual problem?

Avatar n tn This happened when he was 2 yrs old, after a bug bite and again in November 2008 when he woke up one morning said he had a slight headache, he was urinating and he passed out, body locked up. Again EMS felt like he was ok and we didnt need to transport. He had a brain scan when he was 2 after fainting but hasnt seen a doctor for this otherwise. I hear of things like Prolonged QT and I worry.

Avatar n tn Those are some symptoms of diabetes--the excessive thirst and hunger and when you say she cannot see do you mean blurred vision, because that could be a symptom of diabetes as well. If she is frequently urinating, that is another symptom of diabetes. I would take her to the doctor and get a fasting plasma glucose test. Getting blood work is much more accurate than getting her urine tested. You will keep worrying and wondering until you take her to the doctor and get her checked out.
Avatar m tn I would recommend being evaluated by a cardiologist to determine whether you have benign syncope associated with urinating or whether something more sinister is happening. In the meantime, you should take extra precautions to avoid hitting your head when these spells come on.

2086477 tn?1332611994 Some say that I get up very fast and my blood has not enough time to travel to my brain (why dont I pass out while I am on my way to the toilet then?) others say that while urinating first thing in the morning the water ballance in the body dropps (I can not understand the issue.. Does someone have the same? Does anyone knows what to do (not to do?) I have to mention that I have MS, which is a neuroligical condition.. Guess it can contribute as well.. and I am 31. Thank you in advance !
Avatar f tn Now everytime I get up I get the ringing in my ears and the fainting feeling. Is this normal?? I was really sick last night. Thanks for any input.
Avatar f tn s the hymen. If you have excessive bleeding or fainting, see a doctor immediately, because that may indicate a rip in the hymen that's just from having sex the first time and not going easy about it. Also, sex the first time, totally normal for some women to be sore in the vaginal area. Over time that shouldn't happen or very rarely. You may want to take a few Advil to help with the pain and instead of using soap to cleanse, I would recommend something like a sensitive feminine wash.
Avatar f tn I have always been prone to fainting due to being anemic so easily.. When I got pregnant it got worse and I fainted more.. I started taking iron capsules and pre natals with iron..
Avatar f tn I had one the other day. Not sure if it will happen again. But i heard once uou faint it will happen again. When i fainted theyncalled 911.
10777943 tn?1412955415 I'm the same, I get terrible fainting spells during pregnancy. I know its not low blood pressure because I've had preeclamplsia through both pregnancies but interestingly my iron levels have been really low particularly this pregnancy. I had an iron infusion last week and haven't fainted since. Maybe get your iron checked?
Avatar f tn I had fainting spells in the shower every time with my first two. I was anemic too. the doctor had me taking iron supplements twice a day and that stopped it.
Avatar f tn I had horrible timing with my fainting spells last pregnancy. I was always really sick with morning sickness and once I passed out while on the stairs and fell down half of them. Woke up at the bottom of the stairs so confused. It's an unfortunate thing but also a bit normal. The amount of blood in your body is increasing and that is usually what causes it. If it happens a lot you should definitely go in and get some blood work done.
Avatar f tn Hi I'm 23 weeks with my second baby and besides dizziness I had two episodes of sweating and actually to the point of fainting.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else experinced a fainting/passing out moment? Definitely not from low blood sugar.
Avatar f tn I'm 11 weeks and I have been continously fainting at work. I'll lose my vision and hearing and just completely pass out. They keep telling me it's because I'm dehydrated but I'm drinking plenty of water and Gatorade and my blood pressure is very low. No one will really look more into it. I am very scared for my health and about losing my job over it. Please help.
Avatar f tn It's been two days and a half that my husband is sick, he had a fever and he thought that he just have a flu,but now its been many times he passed out for several seconds right after he feels like fainting, he hasn't eaten any solid food yet because his stomach is upset and afraid he will vomit.
Avatar f tn There's no way any of us can give you any advice on this, although I know you'd like help and I'm sure a lot of us would like to help you. Fainting can result from simple or more complex problems, and only a doc is going to be able to tell you what's going on. He really, really, really needs to be seen by a doc - his own doc or one he sees by going to an ER.
