Avatar n tn but the majority of times blood came out in the sperm, or only after ejaculation during urination, or both in the sperm and the urine. once i woke up without having had sex that week and urinated blood. i tested my blood, sperm, and urine and the only abnormality was a high psa level. my dr said it is very rare and is that high in 40/50 year old. i did a biopsy for prostate cancer and my dr said that everything was ok. after the biopsy, i waqs back to normal.
Avatar n tn He said that the scans don't show any cause for this to be happening and it looks like it is curving in rather than the bone thinning in that area. At this point it isn't affecting my brain, so he wants me to repeat the scans in October and come back so he can see if there are any changes. Keep in touch if you find anything out about yours. and feel free to send me a message in my inbox - I have a watch on this post and my inbox and I recieve an email whenever anyone posts to it.
Avatar n tn About 48 hours ago, I noticed this heat sensation in my left shin. At first I thought I was standing too close to a heat vent in the floor at work! It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times.
Avatar f tn No they didnt, they told her to eat more salt. But I called her peds Dr and she called back yesterday evening and said that the cardiologist shouldnt of had said it was normal cause it stated that the findings were incluclusive basically cause the tech had such a hard time that day getting good angles of her heart. so the peds dr is referring her to a different dr. the report said it seen something but couldnt get a good visual. her peds dr was pretty upset that they said it was normal.
Avatar f tn my daughter who is almost 14 (less then 3 weeks away) has had fainting spells since she was about 4yrs old. Always the same episodes dizziness, severe stomach pain, passing out always the same thing. we went from doc to doc. we were told some children just pass out, we were told to increase fluids remove caffeine we did all of this. Not much change but there has never been any rhyme or reason to these occourances.
Avatar f tn my mothers father died from CGF, and my father hada heart attack january of 08'. Since I was 8 or 9, I have been experiencing dizzy spells. which include, fainting, nausea, blurred vision, and this terrible stomach pain, like I have to vomit. 2 of these spells, I have actually fallen, and another one, I broke glass, and injured myself. I am quite scared. I am wondering if the signs point to anemia, Low blood sugar, or a possible heart problem.
Avatar n tn Straight away when I read your post I thought of Anaemia.. does she have heavy periods? When I was in my teens I used to have fainting spells, and after loads of tests it was put down to my hormones and periods, and I was only borderline Anaemic. I would take her to the doctor and get some blood tests for Anaemia, Thyroid, Diabetes etc..

Avatar n tn Reply to Zac - Please see your Doctor immediately. My son who is 25 had some fainting episodes and similar symptoms to yours. After two visits to his Primary care physician he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. The initial diagnosis was panic attack, but a chest xray and EKG on the second visit revealed an enlarged heart and strange heart rythm.. Do not put off finding out what is causing your difficulties. This is your life and well being you are talking about.
Avatar f tn Then last year after I got off of a plane coming from New brunswick to Ontario my symptoms hit with a vengeance putting me in the hospital for a week. I had fainting episodes, fast heart rate and nausea when standing and now a year later still have not settled down, in fact, they are getting worse...So far I have had holter monitor, tilt table test, EP study and TONS of bloodwork done.
Avatar n tn Also does that mean she will have to live with not being able to breathe at times and almost fainting spells? Also, what happens if the aneurysm ruptures and the hole is open again? Is their a risk for blood clots and strokes? Thank you again. I just want to be a little more informed before our next visit.
108861 tn?1227249648 They are both real characters and bring us much joy. I was born in a hospital in Washington, D.C. and raised in suburban D.C. Trasplanted to Minnesota quite some time ago. Gotta run to the store. Catch you all in a bit.
748543 tn?1463449675 TMJ' as it is wrongly called by many) is easy to treat and self-manage or that it may all be in the patient's mind. The sources in the article stated that, "TMJ problems were originally thought to be caused by dental Malocclusion but that this was an infrequent cause of the problem". The American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), an organization of some 40,000 of the nation's leading dentist, recognizes the relationship between maloclussion and headaches.
Avatar n tn I havnt touched alcohol in thirty years, my statement that I have an alcoholic in recovery in the past. My wife in the last year even offered herself to a man with two months to live. Her alcoholic mother was living with the guy, Most of this is becoming reality now, I just confirmed the information, but my wifes affair with a married man earlier had no chance of success, yet she did it anyway. This is part of a cycle that happenes during late relapse.
Avatar n tn My hands and feet are almost always cold (in fact, they are right now), and I fall in and out of relatively mild depression. I have been told that carrying the thalassemia trait has no obvious symptoms, but I've been poking around forums a little bit, and the symtoms I experience seem to be fairly common. I'm still looking for ways to lessen the intensity of these symptoms, but for me I've found that maintaining physical activity helps, as well as not oversleeping, or overeating.
Avatar n tn Without enough bile soup, the fat wraps around the food waste, giving your intestines a hard time to absorb and move them around. I wake up in the middle of the night because of this and wake up in the morning extremely thirsty and tired. I found to work around this, you need to eat low fat, and take vitamin supplements such as Centrum. After 3 days you can feel better. If not, look into Celiac Sprue and stay on a gluten free diet for a few days. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps through.
Avatar n tn Dear Bill, It sounds as though you and your doctors are doing all the right things. PVC's in general are not life threatening in the presence of an essentially normal heart as appears to be your case. It does not sound like the MV leakage is of much clinical significance. My suggestion would be to talk your increasing sympotms over with your physician. Perhaps a low dose of a medication such as a beta blocker would help to decrease the frequency of these PVC's and decrease your symptoms.
Avatar f tn I just had an MRI of my c spine due to rapid eye movement, eye twitching, severe headaches, panick/anxiety attacks and fainting spells my MRI said that my cerebella tonsils were low that they weren't quite 5mm but we exactly 4.5mm my Dr.
503727 tn?1210442710 You and I sound almost exactly the same. I feel dizzy ALOT and I am afraid to be alone or go to a store, When I get in a store I get dizzy, hot and I can feel my heart racing in my chest. I too have had all the various workups for my health and am otherwise fine. I took xanax, and the first pill worked fine then after that they didn't work anymore Now i've started prozac and I feel even worse, everytime I stand up I get the feeling im going to black out. Hopefully this will go away soon.
551343 tn?1506834118 I have been diagnosed with MS, but my journey was not a walk in the park and I can surely relate to what others in this group are going through. If I can help in any way, I will be very happy to do so. I also have one more thing to say and that is that my doctor's say there might be another neurological issue or enzyme deficiency issue that is contributing to my symptoms. I am working through that process and perhaps this forum will help me in some way with that issue as well.
1216899 tn?1288573925 ) Yes, I've been having quite a lot of nausea. It fluctuates, as does many symptoms with VDD, but in bad spells I've been waking up nauseus, it calmed after a while, and then the nausea would come back as i went to bed. I've been taking about 5000 IUs of D3 for 3 months now, and right now I'm having not-so-bad days, and I believe that it is improvement - but I'm not sure, and tomorrow I might feel horrible again...
Avatar n tn Now, since May 15th. I've been having fainting spells. My nose is numb my hands get ice cold. My blood pressure drops and my breathing in very shallow and slow and your heart just feels like it's not doing well. I've had EEG/MRI/CT and nuclear heart stress test/ Tilt Table Test and passed everyone with flying colors. To top it off I noticed on this sight. (Goozy) refers to a smell on they can smell. I have that same smell and it's almost metallic or a dusty(old attic)smell to it.
Avatar f tn I'm 29, and have had perfect health prior to this sudden onset of symptoms in Jan '09. Anyways, it's these spells with the dizziness, heart palps and sudden bowel movement that have all the docs most interested. Phaeochromocytoma and carcinoid syndrome are two things they thought it could be initially, but there is no evidence of this based on blood/urine tests and an abdominal CT. So I remain confused and symptomatic.
Avatar n tn ) Since then, I had an US in Feb on the right breast for 4 cysts (no follow up needed at this time) and a mammo on the left side in May for a new lump (cyst). Now in July, had my yearly mammo for which I got the call back for spot compression. I go in on the 10th. I'm doing fine mentally...just wish I didn't continue needing screenings. In march I also had a biopsy of the lining of my uterus (benign). I have conflicting feelings about screening...
Avatar f tn Ever since I’ve been on the Topamax I’ve experienced these “episodes” in more frequent spells and in longer duration. When I first started getting them and realizing that simply not concentrating on them would not make them go away, I found out that talking out loud to myself would sometimes snap me out of it. Now that won’t even do it.

Avatar f tn Hi, I did a day 5 ET with 2 blast. On days 6-8 I had some mild cramping which my RE said could be from implantation. Then on the day before my Beta test I had some nausea during the afternoon. Beta was done 11 days past ET and I got a BFP!!! Try not to worry to much, alot of people say they feel no symptoms at all and still get a BFP. Best of luck to you.
