Avatar n tn 30 minutes to 1 hour after a meal, I start feeling weakness, tiredness, dizziness and (sometimes only) my Blood Suger falls down drastically. I feel weaknewss after little movement from here to there, short breathing after limbing one storey of staircase, fainting-like feelings, including palpitation. Shoft breath, palpitation, fainting like feelings go away within a minutge or so after sitting/rersting but weakness continues the whole. Weakness is in general but particularly in leges.
Avatar f tn I would venture to say that you are experiencing SVT/A-fib or some other fairly benign arrhythmia that is affecting your energy levels(fatigue, weakness), your stress levels (elevated BP) and your blood pressure (fainting/dizziness). Unfortunately, since you have the PF2 issue, what for most is a benign issue could be potentially dangerous. Therefore, I think your desire to "push your doctor" a bit may not be a bad one. I'm glad you are soon to see a specialist.
Avatar f tn Besides all the symptoms that come with these attacks, i constantly have dizziness, upper back and neck pain and stiffness and i feel weak just going up the steps. I also have a sharp pain on my right shoulder which even prevents me from sleeping on my right side. My MRI's are all normal as well as eeg, ekg, stress tests, echoes and bloodwork.
Avatar f tn I'm at 16 weeks SOC treatment. Periodically, I get these horrible episodes when I feel incrediby weak and if I remain standing I get dizzy and feel as if I'll faint. Usually, when this occurs it happens over the course of the morning (several hours) and gets somewhat better after eating lunch (symptoms don't get better after eating breakfast, however).
Avatar f tn I was advised to take a bit of epsom salt/magnesium sulfate for it and it has been helping a lot. However, the heart racing and pounding have not completely gone away and I've been getting them the most after eating, especially when I eat complex carbs, so I'm wondering if my heart issues could have anything to do with blood sugar levels (or anything related) that could have been caused by any of the meds that I've taken this past year.
Avatar f tn Without Procrit I would have had to stop treatment without a doubt. That is indeed why you are fainting. My doc said "oh you have ringing in your head maybe you need a ear nose and throat guy" I was like what? Then he said you can't breath let's send you for a chest exray? Again - what? Finally I said to him uh I've read all about patients having hemolytic anemia so why don't you run a quick CBC on me and then give me Procrit.
1102792 tn?1285925260 36 m, started having sudden severe stomach pain and fainting after taking strong spirits about 6 months ago. This is a new illness to me, I take antacids occasional to control stomach pain when I take aspirins for my heart condition. But recently, a new problem has started, within a year I have passed out four times, and its always the same sequence.
Avatar f tn Just before I found out what it was, I already resigned from my work because of lightheadedness and fainting spells. Now, I am only staying at home and I rarely feel that way. I'm only experiencing awareness of heartbeat and palpitations. But sometimes I can't even sleep alone because I have a feeling that I will faint. When I go out, I need to have someone beside me because I always feel that something will happen. And I am also overly sensitive to noise and light.
Avatar n tn It could be postprandial hypotension, a drop in blood pressure that occurs after eating which can result in presyncope (dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, almost fainting) or syncope (fainting) in some patients. A holter monitor does not measure blood pressure, so it would not rule out postprandial hypotension as a cause for syncope.
Avatar f tn My daughters symptoms are mainly low blood pressure, low heart rate, low blood sugar, headaches, dizziness, fainting, weakness, and occasional seizures. There are too many symptoms to list really though. Her treatment right now is Florinef, Ritalin, Midodrine, and saline hydration therapy through her PICC. I just take Florinef.
Avatar f tn I am 6 months pregnant. I keep fainting and feeling weak. Is this common?
Avatar m tn The term "Triplets" usually refers to 3 consecutive Premature Vebtricular Contractions or PVC's. In rare occasions they may report weakness, dizziness, or fainting. This is because frequent premature ventricular contractions can diminish the ability of the heart to pump blood to the other organs, resulting in low blood pressure. Patients with three or more consecutive premature ventricular contractions in a row have ventricular tachycardia.
Avatar f tn hi and welcome to the MS forum. Before we can begin to guess at an answer for you or suggestions as to what to ask your doctor, it would be helpful to know a bit more about you. Are you diagnosed with MS? If so, what are your other symptoms you have? I'll watch for more of an explanation.
Avatar n tn My symptom list is so long that I frequently get brushed off as a hypochondriac. I get frequent headaches, joint pain, muscle spasms and twitching, nervousness, unprovoked anxiety attacks, vision loss (and I'm starting to go a little colorblind), fainting, difficulty sleeping, irregular heartbeat and fluttering, mood swings, disorientation, weakness, jumpiness, weakness and fatigue....plus all the trouble I have with my stomach on a daily basis.
Avatar n tn Each time he was sitting down and the last two incidences, May 17th and May 24th, he had weakness in his right arm and hand. These fainting spells last a split second...he blanks out, collapses and comes through in a split second. Neurologists don't believe the seizures and fainting are related. The cardiologists that have seen him don't think he has a heart issue. We really need help to figure this out!! Thank you!
1806721 tn?1554333407 Two days ago, I started to feel dizzy in the morning, and it gradually became worse and was accompanied by feelings of nauseous, chest pain, weakness, and cold sweating with fainting spells. I basically could not sit or move at all and felt like fainting even when lying down. My BP was 120/70 when normal, but it was like 85/40ish yesterday. No fever or bleeding or anything like that. Today, I finally start to feel better and my BP is backed up to 100/60.

Avatar f tn Please take the advice of the first poster and get to a Dr. or ER immediately. Then make sure your Dr. knows the dosing schedule for the future if you are still supposed to be on it. Good luck to you.
Avatar f tn This way your heart is being monitored and when you feel symptoms you can write it down and the time it happened and they can tell you for sure if it is heart related or not. I hope you get better soon. Oh, I believe if you had a hole in your heart it would have shown up on an ultrasound.
Avatar m tn After bugging the doc enough about why at 32 i have to take 3 meds to keep BP under control he has finally set me up to see a kidney specialist. I have been experiencing soreness and weakness in my elbows, like tendonitis, extreme fatigue and burning in my arms when doing light work, tiredness and overall fatigue, since beginning these meds.
Avatar n tn The medical name for tarry black motions caused by GI bleeding is melena - and you may want to look this up on google to ascertain possible causes. If you have melena then you should seek medical help - maybe you should do this anyway especially if you require assistance or advice in determining whether the symptoms are from medicines or bleeding.. GI/rectal bleeding is never normal and should always cause you to seek medical advice.
