Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Avatar f tn He is an Engineer Assistant for a large utility company. In August of 2008 he received his first warning in 10 years for poor communication, not following through ect.. I didn't find out about the warning until March. In April he had an MRI and went to see a Nuerologist, who put him on Aricept as a precaution, and starting running tests for Alzhiemer. He also went back to the NeuroPsyc for a second evalution which showed his memory had improved but his cognition was only at 30% now.
Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar n tn No, No ,No, hot baths cause the fentanyl in the patch to be released into your system more rapidly. There is a warning in the literature you get with those patches warning you not to do this. There have been fatal overdoses attributed to taking hot baths while wearing these patches.
Avatar n tn It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Avatar m tn It usually starts as a precancerous lesion in the form of leucoplakia (white patch) or sometimes erythroplakia (reddish patch). Cancer generally many years to develop but you need to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. All the best!

Avatar f tn of the patch are now more open (from having that body heat) and therefore, a small amount may be released. I do know that there is a warning on the patch boxes (or at least used to be when I was on them several years ago) about making sure when you remove the patch you had on, that you fold it with the adhesive sides touching each other to avoid someone who has not be prescribed the med getting in contact with it or the med getting on other things in the trash.
405614 tn?1329144114 Ha, I got done posting this, and there was an e-mail from my roommate's office. She sent the following links: http://www.dhs.gov/ynews/releases/pr_1238443907751.shtm http://iv.cs.uni-bonn.de/wg/cs/applications/containing-conficker/ I'm supposed to follow the instructions on the first link for her home computer. Gosh, I hope MedHelp doesn't censor those links; I'll check in when I get back from PT and see if I need to repost them.
7677085 tn?1395374075 Have any of you already mamas experienced one after a spinal or an epidural? I think I have one and I'm not sure how to treat it other than the extreme: a blood patch which I'd have to go back to the hospital to get. Any ideas on how to know for sure if it's a soak headache? On home treatments? Ugh all I can say is never again!

Avatar n tn Pityriasis rosea is often confused with ringworm because it typically begins with a large scaly herald patch that actually does look like a ringworm. Have this evaluated further for proper management. Direct clinical examination will help determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar m tn The only thing that has gotten a little worse is that some of my hair on my head is falling out like in a patch its going bald, one patch on my right side of my head is going bald and other spots on top of my head.
