t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Remember you can always try the treatment so see how you respond. If you can do 4 weeks and even make it to 12 weeks you will have a pretty good idea if treatment will work for you. If you became undetectable by week 4 you have a 90% chance of SVR. So even if you had to stop treatment you would know that you could retreat at some point and lick this thing. Stopping the advancement of your liver disease.
hi, ive got this dry patch of skin thats a lighter shade of skin on my scrotum. its a little itchy and sometimes in the morning the skin peels off. any ideas what it could be?
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

I use to get hormonal headaches every other month or so and was able to successfully treat them with one or two prescription pain pills for headaches.
I got prescribed Norco, lidocaine patches, and diclofenac 75 mg. Yesterday I took Norco and I put a lidocaine patch and I woke up with weird heart sensation, like slow heart rate or something. Could it be caused by lidocaine patch? I also take the following medication:

I am currently on the patch and me and my husband want to have a baby but when I try to take the patch off, I bleed for weeks and weeks. I am not sure if this is normal. Eventually I get fed up with the bleeding so I put another patch on. But what can I do to conceive? Am I doing something wrong? Is the bleeding normal?
Hi, I recently noticed a blad patch half the size of my thumb on my head where my hair line ends. I've never had it before, and my boyfriend of 4 years has never seen it before either. It has very few hairs in it however its very smooth and noticeably bald. im very concerned and I dont know what it's from or how to treat it. please help!

How I have addressed it when my kids get a patch is by making sure to keep the area moisturized. I used fragrance free lotions, as the fragrance tends to irritate it further. You also may consider tracking what you are eating and see if you have a 'flare' up when you eat certain foods.
That said, it's possible the patches you are seeing are just dry skin too- if it's winter in the area of the world you live in- it's been an unusually dry winter for most areas.

For a little over 2 weeks I have had a slightly raised circular dry patch on my upper lip. Then I had one on the opposite side on my lower lip. And now I have a bit of scattered dryness on the other side of the upper lip. The circular dry patch is not very noticeable (slightly lighter than the rest of my lip and about the size of a pencil eraser) and not like a blister, but more like a sore, except no oozing or crusting, just a raised dry patch.
Over the past few years, there’s been a patch in the middle of my upper lip that gets particularly dry.
There is now a white patch on my upper lip, it feels exactly the same as the rest of the lip but it just discoloured?
Will this cure with time? Will the colour come back? How can I go about treating this?
I have had fibro for 5 years - at first a few Darvocet took care of the pain - I am now up to a Fentanyl patch 75mcg plus 2 Hydrocodone per day, and 3 Klonopins per day. Then about a year ago, I started shaking off and on, but about 6 months ago, the shaking and muscle contractions are constant. The doctor suggested to start taking Savella, but I have not read about anyone taking Savella for this and that it helped the shakes and muscle twisting.
