t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. Im reading a lot of advice against the use of hormone replacement therapy, but the studies I have researched report that its the combination of progesterone and estrogen that is bad for you, and that estrogen alone may actually decrease the risk of breast cancer. hi am 23 years old went to hospital with chest pains lasted roughly 5mins, had x ray told all was ok sent home, a few days a go got a letter from hospital saying had a 2nd look and there is a small unclear patch on my lung is it any thing to worry about and any ideas what it could be?

Is a blood patch something that she should consider or will this improve in time? Is having Spina Bifida Occulta a concern with regard to lumbar puncture and untoward complications?
My retinal specialist diagoses me a atrophy patch in my right eye. He only told me that because of my myopic streached retina the blood supply in that area was to weak and that the photoreceptors died.
I do see a patch blind spot, but i can't define if is in my central vision or peripheral, because i see the wave in the ambler grid, but in the real life i won't recognize the letter or anything sharp in that area anyway.

I was diagnosed with Chiari in May. Now two of my cousins, my mom and brother have all be diagnosed with it as well. We are joining a genetics study and are curious if any of you others out there have joined any studies. We would like to know what the Pro's and Con's were/are. We feel that since so many of us have been diagnosed in the last three months that our family may be able to help future families and our future generations by joining the study.
