It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.

My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Oh goodness, when you said "ex" I thought of your husband. Oops. Sorry. I wouldn't send him an invite to be honest. Why open up that can of worms. You are going through a rough patch in your marriage and an old "friend"/band aid can cause trouble. And that you are afraid of rejection from him tells me you are already too emotionally involved--------- so NO, don't do it.

Hi all! I was recently put on the 12mcg per he patch by my pain managment doc. After a wek of withdrawal he upped me to 25mcg per hour. I have been on it for 6 days ( 2 patch cycles) and am still in full withdrawal. I have an adhesive allergy and altho I'm not breaking out I. Hives or having a visible reaction is it possible that my body is just not absorbing the medication? Has anyone else had a similar issue?
I was on the xulane patch for only two weeks.the first patch I put on my upper arm then the second I put on my upper back both sites broke my skin out so then I said imma try my foot .i accidentally missed two days so then I put a patch on my foot it didn’t stick so I believe I had break out bleeding then it stopped couple days after that I had unprotected sex then that Saturday I had light pink bleeding spot and it went away.Two weeks went by I woke up with thick blood .
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.

thanks for the response, I was not aware that this site was for substance abuse but I guess that I'm afraid of substance abuse if I go on this patch. I've just been on so many sites in the past couple days and read so much information. No I don't believe myself to be an addict, I only take the pills when I'm at work because I stand on my feet for 8 hrs.

Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

The dermatologist did an allergey patch test on my back and I mildly tested positive to fragrances.... I threw away over $200 worth of products and spent another $100-150 on all fragrance free stuff....from shampoo, conditioners, body wash, lotions, etc and after a week of all this, the patch is BACK!!! I am so frustrated.....It can't be a fragrance allergy....I was told to use only clinique and cetaphyl for my face.....

For about a month now ive had this red, very dry and itchy patch on my cheek. Ive have eczema all my life and it doesnt seem like eczema. About 2 weeks ago it came up in red lump like spots but they wasnt spots. Just red lumps. I used some fucidin ointment on it that the doctor gave me for infections but it just made the pathc fade a bit and less dry and itchy, and thats with using the cream alot. Then the patch returns within 3 days.
What could this be? some type of infection or rash?
