Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Avatar f tn t seep in. If it is elsewhere. .put seran wrap over patch and tape around edges. To make sure your patch sticks better clean area with an alcohol wipe before applying. .wait for it to dry..then apply..you can also buy one of those big waterproof bandaids and place it over patch..but usually the don't stay on long. So last thing u cud do is once placed.

Avatar n tn Hi,my son had open heart surgery @ 2 months old for a pulmonary valve stenosis and a VSD. He had a valvectomy and a transannular patch. He is now almost 7 years old and is presenting with significant backflow to the right ventricle due to having no pulmonary valve. His right ventricle has increased in size quit a bit and the doctors are considering doing surgery. I heard about a non -invasive procedure that you do with a stent placement for pulmonary valves. Is this true?
Avatar m tn Hi, I slept with a CSW last night. I will try to keep this short. Details are below. Can you please help with this? What we did: Oral and sex with condom, masturbation on me, boobjob, and I sucked on her boobs and nipples. What I'm concerned with: On her boob was a red patch of raised skin (about 1/2 inch oval). It was not on the nipple, but about a 1/2 inch to the side. Is this herpes? Could I have gotten oral herpes from sucking on her boobs/nipple?

1243333 tn?1296446902 I have extensive CAD with mutiplable stent placement in the past 22 months, and have high blood pressure (Usally 180/110 And higher), what effect does the high blood pressure have on CAD and angina. I am on bp meds. (norvasc, imdur, toprol XL, spirolactone, valturna, cattapress tts, iron, dexilant & carfate).
Avatar n tn It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
1497203 tn?1288927069 , stating my son now had area of dilation near the stenosis of the aorta. He spoke of getting an MRI and stent placement but by the end of appointment, sent us home and only recommendation was to start him on Enalipril 2.5mg twice a day. No follow up for 1 yr. Cardiologist also mentioned the possibility of Marfan's.
1141204 tn?1266002744 So as you know I have been in the hospital since Sunday, dealing with low pressure symptoms and all that jazz. I ended up having a shunt revision and blood patch placement yesterday, immediately felt like a new woman! I haven't had to take any pain meds since before surgery! The NS put in a different valve, an adjustable one, set it really high and said that the meningocele will probably puff back out but then we will dial the valve down slowly so that I don't get sick.

My vascular issue is recurrent, notice with the Diamox veins deflate and become non existent.
4103247 tn?1349811776 Since they put me on the patch (curently 75mcg X 48 hours) my periods are becoming farther and farther apart. I am having the cold sweats multiple times a day and horrible pins and needle pain in both arms and hands. I also feel like I am losing my battle with my emotions somedays. My PC ran every blood test he could think of, as I also have a blood clotting disorder , but hormone levels appear fine.

He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
510038 tn?1489983029 I have no idea on the patch. I keep meaning to ask for copies of my surgical records, mostly out of curiosity.
Avatar n tn He said the surgery looked fine, and the scratch was probably either incured in the surgery or the placement of the patch. At the time, all looked fine with the lense and te lense capsul. I understand that surgery is quite needed at this point - I am using drops to keep the pressure down in the eye. How do I find out what happened.
Avatar n tn the standard of care would direct non-stand placement. Any alteration of electrode placement must be documented and serial ECG's should have electrodes placed in the same locations if at all possible. This would make comparison tracings more meaningful clinically. Bottom line is to check with your facility policy and follow the local standard of care.
Avatar f tn We present a 12-year-old girl with a history of complex congenital heart disease and acquired complete heart block excluding transvenous lead placement. Contact allergy to silicone led to multiple surgical interventions until the etiology for recurrent pacemaker wound complications was discovered. The key to diagnosis was a specific manufacturer's patch test.
