Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?

My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?

She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.

My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

My GP started me on 50 mcg of levothyroxine. I also take tramadol and fentanyl patch for chronic pain, and oramorph occasionally for breakthrough pain. Since I started levothyroxine, I went immediately from being cold all the time, to perspiring profusely. My blood pressure has shot up, and is around the 190/100 mark or thereabouts. I was on 50mcg for 5 months with no break through meds, then when down to 25mcg with no break through meds for a couple weeks before I switched doctors..today I put on 12mg patch and have 4 a day 15mg of Oxy ir to take for break through pain. I've been getting more achy every day. The Oxi ir makes me itch & I don't feel any better with it. Seems Norco 10/325 worked the best before I ever started the patch. The patches are a nightmare to find & fill every month.

It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. m sorry that you are having problems with your pain. I KNOW that there is NOTHING stronger than the Fentanyl Patch. A 25 mcg Fentanyl Patch is a VERY low amount. If you are to try a higher dose it MIGHT give you the relief that you need. :) We REALLY aren't qualified for give you dosing advice. You RALLY need to discuss this with your Doctor.

But if you miss changing a patch at a certain time or feel you have any change in dosing or need to have a change, please do so only with strict direction from your doctor.

Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

My question is I have heard u can cut some Of it off al pull this glue type substance off the patch. Is this safe? At a small amount of course, not the whole patch. Do I chew the glue or suck on it and for how long? And also swallow when I am finished. I don't want to OD on them I just need a little more pain relief!! Please Help!!
