t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. On December 22, I developed a canker sore on the inside of my lower lip. And also found a tiny patch of red skin on my outer/upper groin about 2 inches away from the base of my penis in both directions.
Before I put the patch on I had hot flashes, cold chills, diarrhea, sneezing and achy legs. Even with the patch on I sneezed a lot yesterday and Saturday night my legs hurt really bad and yesterday my back/ shoulders were achy but I feel ok today. I have been dealing with Firbromyalgia for 10 years now and for the past year and half I have been on the Fentanyl patch. I am currently on 50 m every 3 days. I want to get off of these badly! I'm sick of the side effects like not sleeping and weight gain.... I feel like I need to just clean my body out of all of it and see where I'm at with the pain. I don't even know!
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
Our 2,5 year old persian had diarrhea vomiting lethargy bloody stool. We took to the vets 3 consecutive days, the last 2 visit he got ivs to combat dehydration. Bloodwork fine , xrays fine (lots of gas) ultrasound showed irritation in stomache and colon.blood work is normal, temp. normal over past few months his white count was low. Stool samples showed no parasites but feline corona virus and clostridium.
Just that I cant remember the last time I had diarrhea, or dont remember having this red patch below my neck/upper chest ever. I do get red easily on my chest after sports or alcohol, but not permanently like this. And all this happened after the exposure while im still in the window period

Now in 2009, I had diarrhea,the same symptoms as before, a rash of small red pimples on my arm, a small red patch of what looked like a flaky someing on my arm too, an occasional cough, idon't know if i had fatigue, but I guess that would be next, along with confusion, forgetting and feeling light in the head, along with griping in my stomach, with nausea and in the intestines, especially after i poop, not to mention a slight ache in my lungs.
Started my taper off these two back last July and am still suffering so much. I cut pain patch in 4 pieces and put on the 1/4 patch piece every 7-10 days. Patch works longer than 7, days just so you know. Docs say change every 7 days but keep it on longer. Maybe 10 days plus. I am down to tiny dosage and am still withdrawing and it is now March- 9 friggin months trying to get off this stuff myself. It is pure hell!! Subutex/buprenorphine is hell to get off of.
I have horrible runs after reducing Noro to 1/2 tablet after 7 years of 2-4 Norco a day. I am also on 12mcg Fentanyl patch. Have had 6 spine surgeries in last 5 years for infection which has gotten into bones/spine. Infection went unchecked for 8 years ( after 5 spinal fusion etc 16 years ago . So nerve/bone damage is quite extensive. But level of pain has really decreased and I think Aleve or some such anti-inflammatory will work just fine for pain.
I am coming off of methadone for the third time and YES it is a much longer, much more difficult withdrawal than any other drug out there. I've heard heroin addicts that have been on methadone also but at different times say they would take heroin withdrawal any day over methadone.
I am a male and was the receiver of unprotected oral sex from a girl for roughly 3 to 4 minutes. After it was over I noticed a small pink patch under her bottom lip, not on it. Of course I freaked out and began questioning. I wish I had seen it before. She said it was a healing cold sore and she gets them once or twice a year for the last 15 years or so and to not panic.
I am sorry for your horrific complications! It sure sounds like your surgeon was negligent. I developed the opposite problem (severe diarrhea) post-hysterectomy. I lost my libido too as well as my energy and motivation along with many other issues :(
The patch did not work well for me. I had a long list of hormone deficiency symptoms, the worst being suicidal depression and fragmented sleep. Maybe the patch is not a good fit for you or isn't a high enough dose.
I just took off the patch that I was on for 48 hours. Can I expect any withdrawal symptoms? Should I just put on the 50mcg? I am 71 years old and my heartbeat went down to 52.
Hello, I am very knowledgeable in this area. THE PATCH IS NOOOOO GOOD!!! Good for you on looking into it first. I, on the other hand, did not. I started 11/07. I have herniated discs and fibromyalgia. I am so sorry I ever took it. It is actually 80-100 times stronger than morphine. It tricks the brain into thinking you have more pain than you have, this over time. When I first put that thing on I thought it was a God sent.
I have been put on a fentanyl patch 25 mcg recently. I have a bizarre circumstance that my body adjusts and clears out medications in an expedited way. For example, over the last three weeks, I have gone thru Vicodin, then Norco, then OxyContin, now Fentanyl. I will be having surgery on 3/31, then hopefully my painful condition will start to improve. With all the posts on Fentanyl withdrawl, I am terrified of going thru that.
