Hello, I was just reading about an older dog having a problem with urinary incontinence and the treatment she was given, particularly the possible side effects. My White Bearded Collie (13 years old) started being incontinent last year and my vet has prescribed INCURIN 1mg daily. This has been mostly effective (just the odd occurrence when she was asleep or distressed). I was just concerned that it may have some serious side effects such as those mentioned for the other treatment (PPA).
My question is should I be taking this or something else to combat the effects of coming off testosterone injections? Some sites even stated I should have been on HCG during my therapy to reduce the side effects of shrinking testicles, which I have experienced. HCG is supposed to reverse this so I'm wondering if this is what I need, or just another supplement I can buy to help me feel better and energetic again.
Lack of lube sometimes happens. As was already said - it's not due to herpes and you should visit your doctor to make sure there's nothing else going on. Depending on the cause of the dryness - depends on if you can use the otc lubes or if you need a topical estrogen to do the trick for you.

If you go to chemocare.com you can read all the side effects of Tamoxifen. What you mention are all listed there. The weight gain no doubt is due to fluid retention which is one of the side effects. You might discuss changing drugs with your Oncologist as there are others available but keep in mind that they all have similar side effecfts even though you mjight not experience them to the same degree. Progesterone is needed to oppose oestrogen in men. If this goes on for long enough a man (yes, and a woman) can become oestrogen Dominant (too much oestrogen relative to Testosterone). By lowering stress and thus.. reducing cortisol, my progesterone levels should return to normal levels. If that is the case then why wouldn't it counter the extra oestrogen in my body automatically and remove the effects of oestrogen dominance?

the good old DHEA, but you better read up about it first as it can have some funny side effects with the odd person, you could also back it up with some Tirbulus, will do the same thing but without any side effects, they will both boost your testosterone, your libido and your energy levels, you can google Tribulus for any more info.
Hi, I am 17, I am on Depo Provera and am having side effects such as constant bleeding (1 month and half) and the common mood changes. I was told that if I take estrogen I can minimize the bleeding or even stop it...However I was informed by a nurse that due to breast cancer running in my family if I starting to take an estrogen pill so early it can potentially make my risk of breast cancer even higher for the future.
They are full of it! Those are the side effects of Tamoxifen along with several others!

Have there been studies of women who had estrogen positive breast cancer while on HRT due to hysterectomy and stopped their source of estrogen. The only information that I can find talks the women who had ovaries, and I have not found any information that talks about the women who have had hysterectomies prior to breast cancer.
