Now I'm starting my third trimester (I'm 27 weeks) and I am starting to have ALL SORTS of complications with my joints.

This can be a tough decision. I inject both methotrexate and Enbrel once a week; both are virtually painless. Sometimes I don't even feel the needle, it's so small. I started working on concrete floors and it all came about pretty quick. I got a pair of Z-coil shoes and they really help, but the situation is getting worse. We have no insurence and I have not even been to a specialist yet, only chiropractors and I finally said something to my M.D. I didn't want a trail with doctors if we could get insurance. weird, never thought that enbrel would be a cause of hpv. I have developed hpv before starting on enbrel. what connection is there between the two?

I SEEM MY RA DOCTOR THE OTHER DAY AND ADVISED HIM I'M GOING TO GET OFF OF THE ENBREL AND SEE IF MY THROAT CONDITION IMPROVES. HE DID NOT THINK THAT WAS THE PROBLEM.

Doctor, I would like information related to Enbrel and MS. I used Enbrel for less than one year. I now have demylination of the cervical spinal cord, both optic nerves, plaques in my brain, numbness in leg and balance problems. I am now fifty eight. Symtoms started at age fifty six with numbness in leg and balance problems. I have been told it looks "MSish." Questions: now that the new symptom of, the optic nerves being demlinated, is it MS?

I have been told to get off Enbrel for needed gallbladder surgery. My problem is that when I get off Enbrel, every joint in my body swells, turns red, hurts unbearably and locks up. I become completely bedridden and cannot get dressed or go to the bathroom without help. My blood tests show that, even with the Enbrel, my c reactives and other immune response numbers are very high. They tell me that they will give me prednisone to help with the reaction.

I have had moderate to severe RA for 5 years. Take Enbrel once a week and am supposed to take 5mg. injectible of methotrexate weekly. I had gone without the methotrexate for at least six months and have not noticed any difference at all. I am scared to death of the methotrexate. Can anyone explain why my doctor wants me to continue it if it does not seem to make a difference? I do great on the Enbrel by itself, but am sure there are reasons, I just don't understand!

My doctor wants to put me on Enbrel but i am nervious about it. All the reading i do about it suggests that the cure is worse then the disease and it seems that the risk of getting cancer, lupus or the like is extreamly high (higher then the other injectables). I am no stranger to biologics, my doctor had me on Raptiva (before they pulled it) and i loved it. Completly cleared me with no side effects and even kept me clear for 2 years after i stopped using it. But Enbrel scares me.

Hi I have been on Enbrel injections for over 4 years and i can't praise the drug enough fantastic results - i have the chance to visit family in Australia for 4 months when i retire in 18 months time the only obstacle is my medication and how would it work with my getting enbrel injections and it is a long flight - is there a solution around this problem

I have the HLA-B27 Gene passed from my father to me...I have cronic eye infections..i take Enbrel sots once a week they have helped some, but still pain..Any opinions on something else that could be helpful to bring up to my RA Doctor in the next week or so? Good Luck All!

one year of Enbrel injections. Although the Enbrel may have lessened the pain and progression. other side effects and basically an unwell feeling. dizziness. sinusitis. Pain in eyes. If this is as good as it gets. there must be something better. anyone else been here and found something better?

Hi - has anyone who has ever been on Enbrel noticed a rust-colored staining on the hands? I'm not sure if it is directly related to enbrel, but I thought I would ask. Hello there, I am 24 years old male I was recently diagnosed with Reiter's Syndrome (Reactive Arthritis). I am positive for HLA-B27 antigen. It's been almost one month since the first swelling and before that I had Chlamydia. My symptoms so far are swelling in knees, elbow, ankles, toes, wrist, fingers, and I think in my spine too, and of course, pain and stiffness. I didn't have any other problem from the list of problems that come with Reiter's.

I was diagnosed with Severe RA in 1999 and was prescribed Enbrel. I've been on it 2 times a week since then and have very good luck with it. No side effects and have to take no other medications with it, besides Vicodin when I have a flare up or severe pain. I'll be getting married this October and am curious to know if any woman out there have gotten pregnant and given birth while on Enbrel.

Is there any way you can be over medicated with the enbrel and celebrex? For the fatigue I use vitamin B complex. This really helps me. Good luck and dont give up!
