It can be difficult to get proper nutrition when pregnant and having an eating disorder and so babies can then have a low birth weight. how you feel about your body is what gives you the disorder, the behaviors the define which kind. there are two types of anorexia, restrictive and binging/purging (which doesn't always include binging). it sounds like you have anorexia nervosa b/p, but i am not a doctor and you should really see one so you can get better. long term purging has terrible effects on your body, everything from sore throats to cardiac arrest.

I was put on birth control for the estrogen to help replenish my bones, and return my period. (I do not menstruate without the pill) I have doubts of my being able to actually carry a child in the future, but was considering a surrogate mother. My HR usually is around 58-71 when resting during the day but sometimes goes as low as 51 or 52. However at night and in the mornings it drops to around 45 to 55. When I am asleep it has periods where it drops anywhere to between 19-31 bpm and then spiking immediately to anywhere between 206-227 bpm. Is this normal? What's going on? The only answer I could find was sleep apnea, which would make sense because I do wake up gasping for breathe often, but I just don't know.
hey i am 14 and have been anerexic for 7 months. i went from 108 to 82 pounds. everybody told me i was to skinny. i am doing better now and i wiegh 113 i am 5"1 so im in the healthy wieght range. my last period was in april of 2010 and i havnt had one since. i am scarred that it wont come back. y isnt it coming back????
