I need to get so wax out of my ear but I don't want to spend 200 dollars at the doctors. The last time I used a lavage kit from the drug store it didn't work too well and I got an ear infection and I don't think sticking stuff in myself is a good idea. Are there any sort of businesses I can go to less expensive or am I better off simply getting someone at home to help me?
I can hear but, it feel like I have pressure in my ear and as though the right ear only. I also hear slight ringing at times including small clicking noises randomly. I have a 3rd follow up appointment w/ my ENT on Thursday. The 2 hearing tests at this point show loss of low frequency and voices sound high pitched in the right ear.
Should I be going to a specialist? I suggested that I had water in my inner ear but, the doctor will not agree.
I was dumb enough to try ear candling even though studies show it doesn't do what is intended. People swear it helps them and I had been having congested ears. Long story short hot wax from the candle dripped into my ear and now I am in pain. This morning a piece of "candle" wax came out of my ear but I am almost certain there is more in there. My hearing is muffled and when i move my head while sleeping the crackling wakes me up. Any advice or solutions?
On Monday morning I woke with an ear infection. I went to the doctor right away and was given Otic Edge, told to continue an antibiotic I was already on, to call if it wasn't felling better in a couple of days, and to schedule a recheck for a week later. Thursday, my ear still felt plugged, I was getting sharp pains, and ringing so I went back to the doctor. He said that there is alot of drainage in there and it kinda looked like swimmer's ear.
You can pick up an ovulation kit at walgreens. I also noticed they sell a lube called "pre seed" ... I thought that was clever! Probably gonna buy it next month!
My husband is a doctor so we have exhausted the medical community, ENT, neurologist, internal medicine, chiropractic and all tests, MRI, CAT scan and the official vertigo test at the ENT. Nothing found anything. I finally heard about ear candling. I used 5 in one ear and 6 candles in the other and had INSTANT relief and these candles were full of wax and yeast. I will be repeating this as a preventative measure once a month or more often if needed but I finally have relief.
You also can get an HA1C test kit at Walgreens and also I believe Walmarts now that will test your blood sugar average for a period of a couple months. For a non-diabetic this number would be in the high 4.0's. For pre-diabetic it would be in the high 5.0's and anything over 6.0 is considered diabetes. At Walgreens I believe these kits are around $25.
does anyone know a cheap alternative to it that I can pick up at walgreens/Walmart/cvs...?
I recently went to pick up a home access hiv test from walgreens. when i got home i noticed that the side of the box had been opened. and there appeared to be dried blood on the inside of the box. while i dont know if the box was tampered with, i am worried that it could have been. i know hiv is not a possibility but what about hepatitis c. I definitely touched the red marks, should i be worried? thank you.

I went to see a doc this morning for my right ear. I have had a cold for about a week and last night my right ear plugged up, start ringing and discharging fluid so I figured I had an infection. The doc said that the right ear was indeed infected although it had no wax build up and the left had a large amount of wax build up wasn't infected. He told me that I should get a ear wax removal kit for the left when I have the time.
I have had an ear ache for quite some time; however, it has been improving.
I have had this problem before and it was an ear infection (swimmer's ear) and had antibiotics prescribed.
I visited my physician last week and he did not offer me too much satisfaction and did not prescribe any antibiotics this time.
He gave me some samples of Celebrix.
Are there any over the counter medications or drops that I can purchase at Walgreens so I can doctor this myself?

If you want to try it out you can purchase the acne kit and test it out. It is a lot cheaper than purchasing these two products and that one comes with 4 products. It is a 30 day trial kit. They have sulfuric acid and salicylic acid which doesn't dry out the skin it actually reduces inflammation, kills bacteria and tightens up to pores while healing the breakouts :) good luck girl sometimes there's not much you can do when its hormonal changes!

I know a girl that used it twice & it was right.. boys both times, but personally I'm going to wait. --- I could use that $30 to pay my copayment at my OB & get the ultrasound anyway lol paying money for the intelligender AND my OB is double the money.. when I'm going to find out the sex anyway.

My brother says he recently weaned himself off hydrocodone but my mther and I have our doubts. He has agreed to random drug tests. Can anyone recommend a home drug test kit that will detect hydrocodone? If the test says it tests for opiates does that include hydrocodone?

There are DNA kits that you can buy at Walgreens drug store. Some other stores that might carry them are Walmart, cvs, target. I think it just requires a swab sample from child and father. You then send the kit to the lab addressed in the package. I'm not exactly sure on the cost of the kit and the lab, but I believe in total it's somewhere around $150.

Yes I tryed gender kit and I followed all instructions on box it turned a greenish gray indicateing "Boy" and I get 20 week ultrasounds done April 2nd
I also called the number on box they said that if u follow the instructions on box it 87 percent accuracy so if u try do it right and its a bit costly $40.00 at Walgreens. So good luck!!!!!
