Does anyone know if alpha blockers negate the positive effects of Duloxetine? It seems that if norepinephrine is blocked via the alpha blocker than it would cancel out the effect of the norepinephrine re-uptake and subsequent positive effects of an SNRI.

I'm on Day 3 of Duloxetine and I've started having numbness/tingling in my arms, legs, hands and face. Is this normal and will it go away with time? I'm used to certain side effects from SSRI/SSNRI medications but never had this one before. It isn't super bad but it is kind of annoying. Any answers would be much appreciated.

I think my anxiety attacks are pretty much under control since I take the duloxetine, and I really think with me taking Duloxetine and me completely stopping the vyvanse was why I didn't have a harder time coming off the medication.

I am taking DULOXETINE 60MG.

Duloxetine normally has the other effect of actually switching off the hunger levels in the body unlike sertaline so you should be fine

I would not have recommend you to go onto duloxetine, in some, duloxetine can cause kidney and liver problems, drinking alcohol while taking this drug will unfortunately increase that risk and even more so with someone with your condition.

The only thing I have found in the literature so far that I can try is combining Gabapentin with Duloxetine. I did take Duloxetine previously for pain (adjunct to the Celebrex) and it did help, but my GP is skeptical that Gabapentin would help even if combined with Duloxetine. I have neuropathic nerve pain from a botched neck spinal fusion 2013. After 2 more spinal fusions to correct the problem it was determined that the problems i am having cannot be corrected. I am left with permanent damage and neupathic nerve pain. To add to it my lower back has disc compression issues. I have been getting injections for this when its unbearable, but im apprehensive about surgical treatment.

I just ordered more Cymbalta from Canada who in turn orders it from India. I always get the generic duloxetine from them but this time I also got duvanta.
