I have been on treatment for PCOS for a year and a half now with Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol birth control pills. My OB/GYN asked for a blood test in order to see how my hormones are doing. While I am content that my testosterone levels are within normal range (it was very high at the moment of diagnosis and I was suffering from many uncomfortable effects) my prolactin levels are 38.25. I understand that this is high but, is it very high? should I be concerned?

Three months ago I was switched by my OBGYN to the oral contraceptive pill Loestrin ( a combination of norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol). I asked my doctor to switch me from my old 'tried & true" BC pill Azurette (Ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) because of my suspicion that it, Azurette might be making my Chronic Migraine Headache condition worse.
Yasmine has a higher level of ethinyl estradiol (10ug more than Yaz) . Gianvi is the same formulation as Yaz, execept in generics fillers are different. Ocella is supposed to be the same as Yasmine, but fillers are diferrent and I reacted differently on ocella. Yaz has 24 pils and Yasmine 21. Yaz is supposed to take care of the PMDD symtoms better.

My side effect of taking the other remedy was weight gain. I gained 9 kg and now my weight is stuck at one point and is not decreasing. Does anyone have a similar problem?

I'm on CD 88. Took Provera and did not have bleeding or spotting within 10 days after. Did blood work and it showed FSH: 6, LH: 1, TSH: 2.54. I did temping and OPKs and I'm pretty sure I did not ovulate. Before that I was on BCP (0.035 ethinyl estradiol & 0.25 norgestimate) and had very regular periods. What next? Clomid to stimulate ovulation? Clomid followed by estrogen? BCP to reset the cycle?
I was prescribed Estradiol to help with excessive bleeding for my periods and when I took it for 10 straight days my face cleared up almost 100% for the first time in 10 years. I was over the moon happy until my gyno said I could not be on Estradiol long term and she would not prescribe me anymore. Hi, I’ve recently gotten on a birth control pill called “ Norethindrone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol 1mg/0.02 mg” What I’ve recently discovered is after taking the three weeks of pills I’m supposed to take a week off of the pills and then start the new pack. Needless to say, I was unaware that I was supposed to be taking this week off between packs. I’ve been taking this birth control for almost 4 months without these week breaks between packs. Is this something I should worry about?
