I have a 2 year old great dane that i got from a friend she said he is healthy now he did have parvo but she said it is gone. since we have gotten the dog everytime he eats he throws up. we have his dog food bowl raised and water bowl raised. this does not seem to help. we are feeding the dogs pedigere dog food.
Our 4 year old Old English Sheepdog has been throwing up regularly for a few months. She always had a sensitive stomach and tended to throw up if she ate something other than her food or if she drank her water too fast but now she is throwing up yellow bile a couple times a week on an empty stomach.
About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet.
My (now 1 year old) Shih Tzu still has digestive issues off & on. But today I'm wondering about something. My son was playing with her with one of her favorite squeaky toys and all of a sudden she stopped and threw up. There was no liquid it was kind of like mush. Anyway, the thing is she ate breakfast at 7 AM. So this happened 5 hours after eating. Why wasn't that food digested and long gone by then? She usually eats 7:00, 3:30, 9:30, roughly.
My 11 lb male Toy poodle is throwing up blood. Its mixed with yellow bile and some times its light red ,or orange. he wants to eat grass then throws up. Hes eating regularly, drinks water, plays is his normal self but has been throwing up blood every few days now. My dog is a 3 month old Chihuahua/Shitzu mix. He had threw up once a day Corry the last three days, and today when we woke up he was on Great spirits then a few hours later he started acting weird. He has been getting sick about 2 times an hour which is either white foam or Food that he had in his belly. His breathing has dramatically changed, his breathing has become shallow and at times sounds like he is breathing quick short breaths.
Is she ok now? Or still sick?
A pup who throws up more than once or twice needs to go to the vet because there is the danger of dehydration. Puppies are more susceptible.
I would be inclined to take her to the vet anyway, because throwing up bile is not a sign that the puppy is hungry, it's a sign that something is amiss. It could be anything. An upset stomach, an infection, a foreign body...etc Did you, or the people you got your puppy from make sure she had her vaccinations?
My 8 month shih tzu has been throwing up bright yellow bile every other day. Sometimes he throws up in the middle of the night, but most of the time it is between 10 and 3 in the afternoon. We have recently switched his food from beneful (which his old owners had him on) to Innova Evo with chicken. I have read that this is caused by an empty stomach. He eats twice a day, and most times when he throws up he has food down, he just isnt eating it. But he seems to enjoy the food when he eats it.

I am not trying to mean, but it makes me so upset when I hear people say they can't foord the vet. Your dog is throwing up blood-that REQUIRES prompt vet care. It can be fatal if not treated. There really isn't anything you can do from home. You really need to get him in the vet now. He is bleeding internally and thatis very painful. I hope you can figure something out.
But then he started to throw up then pooped blood, since then it has been a getting better then sick again. we gave him baby tylenol for his fever last night... now he is not throwing up but still pooping water like blood. we gave him his parvo shot today and giving him pedialyte and water along with his food that i blended in the blender. is there something else i should be doing? i love my baby and i dont want him to die, i am doing my best to stay by his side...
My pug for the last 2 1/2 days has had no appetite, I noticed today she was throwing up water also. She's just laying around, has no energy! She is usually very active! My 2yrold son hit our 9wks old Maultisexchu baby girl ruby very hard some where with a hard flat shoe.She screamed for a while then started to trow up for an hour.She has now stoped throwing up for about 3hours now,but is'nt playing or running around like she would she also look's sad. she will walk a little then sit down that all she doing.
