My 11 lb male Toy poodle is throwing up blood. Its mixed with yellow bile and some times its light red ,or orange. he wants to eat grass then throws up. Hes eating regularly, drinks water, plays is his normal self but has been throwing up blood every few days now. It was every day until a friend who is a vet tech told me to try worm medicine. now hes throwing up less frequently but still is. Im worried about him. I dont have the money for alot of tests so I hope you can help me. Thank you.

About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet. He did a chest xray and thought she may have cancer because of some shawdowy patches on her lungs and her heart was lifted above where it should be. He then did blood tests and a trachial wash??
Hi Kata.......Bile acids are usually Yellow........Green is a red flag.....You need to get your guy to a Vet ASAP......Puppies this young cannot get dehydrated......Dehydration alone can be fatal......If your guy has not had all his puppy vaccines, then this may be the beginning of a serious issue......Do not wait any longer.......My first thought (With green) is Rat poison! If this is a possibility, you must seek treatment, NOW.......Please, come back and let us know what you find out......
I have a 2 year old great dane that i got from a friend she said he is healthy now he did have parvo but she said it is gone. since we have gotten the dog everytime he eats he throws up. we have his dog food bowl raised and water bowl raised. this does not seem to help. we are feeding the dogs pedigere dog food.
And I drink water but it comes right back up too and then I puke yellow and green ish fluid.

I'm 25 weeks, I haven't had morning sickness since December. Yesterday I came home from work throwing up so at first I didn't think any of it because I'm pregnant. This was at 8 pm. Same thing happens to my Minature Poodle. Your dog is throwing up bile due to low blood sugar. As you know, when Cody throws up, there is no food in it, just fluid. This proves that his stomach is empty. With small dogs, they can become hypoglycemic very easily. I suggest giving a few treats before bed. Or, stop by your local pet store and pick up some Nutra-Cal - it is a sugar based thick syrup that also contains many nutrients.
k so my dog is 6 months old she was sick last week throwing up yellow bial she wouldn't take ice cubs or drink or eat anything, brought her to the vet she got a shot and was fine for two days after being treated she was sick again, throwing up Monday couldn't keep anything down again than yesterday we limited her food to 4 small proportions through out the day, she was perfect kept it down playing etc..
My pitbull has been coughing a lot and usually it's dry and kind of gags but nothing comes out and up until today she just started throwing up blood I have no idea what it is
