Our 4 year old Old English Sheepdog has been throwing up regularly for a few months. She always had a sensitive stomach and tended to throw up if she ate something other than her food or if she drank her water too fast but now she is throwing up yellow bile a couple times a week on an empty stomach.
About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet.
I have a 2 year old great dane that i got from a friend she said he is healthy now he did have parvo but she said it is gone. since we have gotten the dog everytime he eats he throws up. we have his dog food bowl raised and water bowl raised. this does not seem to help. we are feeding the dogs pedigere dog food.
My 11 lb male Toy poodle is throwing up blood. Its mixed with yellow bile and some times its light red ,or orange. he wants to eat grass then throws up. Hes eating regularly, drinks water, plays is his normal self but has been throwing up blood every few days now. It was every day until a friend who is a vet tech told me to try worm medicine. now hes throwing up less frequently but still is. Im worried about him. I gave my dog 1.5 () pills last night with dinner and he threw up half way through the night. He threw up breakfast this morning, and is throwing up any water (anything really) that he tries to ingest. He's throwing up within minutes of taking the food or water in.
He's lethargic and really sad.
Our vet just said to wait it out till the meds were out of his system, and to give Pepcid if he wont stop throwing up.
They took out 1/2 of my stomach, due to it was lack of blood flow and part of it died. I have been throwing up sence the surgery. I am still throwing up. I throw up at least 3 or 4 times a day. My parents dog is 13 years old. In December the dog had an episode of vomiting up bright red blood and then vomiting up a darker substance. Parents took dog to vet. Vet thought the dog ate some deer poo or something similar and gave the dog an anti-vomiting type medication. Dog was okay for about a week maybe. Then started throwing up blood again. They took him back to vet. Vet recommended having a light run down into his gastrointestinal tract to check for stomach tumors.

My 8 month shih tzu has been throwing up bright yellow bile every other day. Sometimes he throws up in the middle of the night, but most of the time it is between 10 and 3 in the afternoon. We have recently switched his food from beneful (which his old owners had him on) to Innova Evo with chicken. I have read that this is caused by an empty stomach. He eats twice a day, and most times when he throws up he has food down, he just isnt eating it. But he seems to enjoy the food when he eats it.
When I took her in on Monday and had blood tests and x-rays done it turned out to be a lot of little problems and two huge problems all intermingling together. She had developed diabetes with her blood sugar level at 600 and the blood test of her liver was so big the chart would not register it. Her liver was 3 times the size it should be and she had many signs of pancreas disease (tumor could not be confirmed without surgery) and the pancreas not performing correctly.
My (now 1 year old) Shih Tzu still has digestive issues off & on. But today I'm wondering about something. My son was playing with her with one of her favorite squeaky toys and all of a sudden she stopped and threw up. There was no liquid it was kind of like mush. Anyway, the thing is she ate breakfast at 7 AM. So this happened 5 hours after eating. Why wasn't that food digested and long gone by then? She usually eats 7:00, 3:30, 9:30, roughly.
Well i have been throwing up a lot these past weeks and he said i could of broke a blood vessel and that's why it happened.
