Some years ago, I fainted in a Turkey Race and I was sent to the ambulance they told me that I have low blood sugar. Some times when I stand up my eye vision turns white for some sec. and becomes normal. This year I goot a blood test and they said everything was normal except that i had a skin allergy. I am 15 years old and I am 5'8" at 105-108lbs. Before I go to sleep I am around 108 then after I wake up I am 105. Is it diabetes or something else?

Then they feed you some terrible sugary glop. After about an hour they test your blood sugar again. In a normal person this rises. Mine fell because the sugary drink triggered an insulin surge. They tested me once an hour. It was only after about four hours that my sugar level began to rise.

A few days ago i had balanitis but it went away i am uncircumcised and i learned that diabetes can cause that. also i am on a low carb diet high protein i am trying to lose weight i am 5'8 180 lbs which gives me a fruity breath Today my belly button had a little bit of discharge but i cleaned it up i just wanted to know do these look like pre diabetes symptoms?

I have very low blood sugar levels and i get dizzy and sometimes i cant talk properly. What is the lowest it can be before i have to be hospitalized. I am very scared for my unborn little girl and i cant let anything happen to her. What can i eat to keep my sugar levels high all the time.

I just took a diabetes symptom quiz and I do seem to have a lot of the symptoms. The thing is that my blood sugar has always been in the normal range. I took a type 2 diabetes risk quiz and got a score of 0 (very low risk), so I'm guessing I'm more likely to have type 1? But type 1 usually starts before age 20 doesn't it? Unfortunately, getting labs done could take a while...

It sounds like possible hypoglycemia to me but I'm not a Dr. I go through the same thing if I don't eat. I have checked my blood sugar when I've went without eating and my numbers are pretty low. Not long after I eat something I feel better and my number comes up. It might be best if you have several small meals a day to keep your blood sugar where it should be. Three meals a day may not be enough to keep your levels normal.

Anyone else have very low blood sugar? What do you do to keep your sugar levels up? Eating more fruit isn't working for me and I hate sugary drinks...

I slept til almost 3 and i had to just force myself to get up and unlock the door for my son. All i could think of was to check my blood sugar (i have a maachine from yrs ago when i had gest diab but have never had any other prob that i know of. Anyway, it was 56 which i think is low so i ate a couple of spoonsful of pb and drank a dr pepper. Waited 45 min and checked it again, it went up to 72. I still don't feel good but better than this morning....

I do at random points so I always have kool aid made and I'll yell at my bd to get me juice and I drink a glass and lay down so if I do pass out it won't hurt anyone but that's only happened maybe 3 times and I'm 34+3

Most people do not consider blood sugar to be low and in need of treatment unless it is under 70 or even under 60. I've been hypoglycemic (have low blood sugar) since I was very little. You need to have peanut butter crackers or some almonds on hand at all times if you're getting low blood sugar. Gum will only help for a little while. Candies and stuff are high in sugar but they don't last as long. The protein in nuts and peanut butter raises your sugar and keeps it up for a good while.

Today about 20 minutes after my lunch I started sweating, feeling weak, heart racing, etc. I checked my blood sugar and it was 71 after eating a chicken salad, salad. For example my dad thinks he has high blood sugar or low. He got his blood sugar tested for a few days and his blood sugar was within normal range every time, but he still insisted that he has diabetes. I have health anxiety which is not quite the same. I am a 73 yrs old male, 5'6", 170 lbs. My father and mother (both decease) had age on set Type II diabetes. While in the military for 21 years I've always had "borderline" glucos reading. After quitting smoking, I gained weight and my blood sugar went up to around 200. After retirement from my civilian job in 2003, my docotr placed me on low dosage Avandia. I have not heard about MS and low blood sugar being related. I do know that there are many people that have MS and diabetes. Still the doctor's say they are not related. I still have the gut feeling that they are related. Please make sure that your doctor is aware of these times of low blood sugar. You don't want to take any chances with your health.

My Father 77 yo and already have diabetic since 25 years ago but now he get low blood sugar (50 - 70) after he take oral medicine for deabetic. He get receipt from cardiologist monthly because he have chf also. What i/he have to do?
