He spends more time with them then with his children and myself. If I say anyhthing about his mother, he jumps on me, but he can say anything about mine and I don't say anything because I do not want to fight. Yet, if I say anything to him about his mother, something so tiny he jumps on me. I'm tired of dealing with this and d on't know what to do.

Ignorance I know first hand cause my n laws really wreck my nerves. Most days I'm stuck hollering at kids and I don't understand I will shut my door and lock it some me time. Everyone beats down my door if I'm sleep and don't answer they will call my phone 1000 times annoying as hell. This is my first child but they expect for me to get up every morning get my nephew ready for school and take him but I quit after him missing a few days they got the picture.
m still legally married to someone else and he refusing to file for divorce. I served him paper two years ago but signed them to late. SHOULD I tell him about the baby in hopes that he will then file for divorce. Or just let him discover my growing baby.
I have been wanting to leave my husband for several months now. And he is on to me that I'm seeing someone. Which I have been.
But every time I tell him I don't want to be with him anymore, he forces our love for me to love him and I don't. I love him in a caring way but not an intimate way. Hes a type of person who gets hurt very easily, and I want to know how bad of an idea would it be if I told him I had been seeing someone for 7 months?....
I am sorry you are in this position, I dont think a court would not let you have visitation rights to your children unless you have been abusive to them, Children do need both parents in their lives, I believe many studies have been done showing that children do better with both their Mom and Dad having a positive participation, if your wife has a problem with it and you know you are a good Dad fight for your rights and know that your children will be glad you are in their lives.
In the divorce paperwork they will set visitation. Idk what the laws are where you are but here in KY you can not file for divorce until the child is born. You can file for legal separation but that is it. I would go ahead and call a lawyers and see what the rules are in your area. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc.
So we planned to start a family and I got conceived in the 4th month after my marriage. Everything was fine and my in-laws took extreme care of me and were happy. But in my 4th month of pregnancy, they all of a sudden asked me if I know the sex of the baby in my womb and they asked me to go to some small hospitals and check it. I didnt understand why they were saying so. But I didnt do it.
Just ask around if there are any local programs or charities that help women with children. You could ask your good friend to put you and the kids up until you get on your feet too. Or tell him you want a divorce and ask him to leave for the sake of
his children, so you don't have to turn their entire world upside down.
It would affect custody rights but seeing your children are raised that is not an issue. This is how it is in Canada, and our divorce laws are similar I think. I bought a book on law and divorce when I went through mine. It was enlightening to say the least.
We were **** poor broke so there wasn't a lot of marital assets. I did threaten him with all I would do to him if he didn't pay for the lawyer for the divorce though. So at least I got $1000 out of the dead beat.

My in laws have a 4 yr old daughter. I'm 36 weeks with our first child. The in laws don't discipline the 4 yr old AT ALL and constantly complain about other kids misbehavior although theirs is the same. Very nervous that they will spank my child for things that they don't spank their own for. They did spank their other children. While I'm not opposed to spanking my child, I do not like the idea of someone spanking her for things that they didn't spank their for.
So how do i explain to my children when the baby gets to go places and comes home with new things all the time? Its going to break their hearts. Im just at a loss. Part of me says to make my husband have a talk and tell them to treat the kids all the same, but part of me says its natural for it to be only the baby. I just know i feel like theres a storm thats gonna hit after i give birth... whether it be from my kids or my in laws.
my boyfriend whos getting a divorce in march comes from a very rich family whos crazy about having kids on their side. my boyfriends mother put it in her sons head to divorce his wife and take their son. the mother has no contact with the kid anymore. my boyfriend got his wife into drugs and thats what they hold agaisnt her. i dont get along with my boyfriends parents at all because they think im a gold digger.
I have my degree in psychology, majoring in child development and I also work with children with behavioural issues. If your cousin has shared custody with his ex he has the right to take his son to be assessed by a doctor and a child therapist/psychologist if he is at all concerned. He may have to get his partner's consent depending on the laws where you are located.
They will know exactly what to do. Laws are different in most states so they will know how to proceed.
Having no funeral and only a memorial is not uncommon. I think it makes things a little easier on their friends and family. They can remember the good times they had with the person instead of a memory of them laying in a coffin.

You can also of course contact a child advocacy program in your community (in most states there are laws to protect children against neglect) to see if there are legal remedies against the parents available - child neglect is against the law and a legal remedy (or a threat of one) might force them to act in the best interests of their child. Try searching for a "Guardian Ad Litem" or Child Advocacy.
The problem is about EXPECTATIONS!! We expect too much from our in laws at the time of pregnancy. We want them to care us like our mother n father but we have to remember they are our in laws not our real parents. Our parents gave so much love to us so we expect same from others. I used to feel same when I am still 35 weeks pregnant but now I am used to it and expect less from my MIL..
