There is also Elavil a low dose tricyclic antidepressant that takes away pain if you have alot of pain and drugs like ditropan xl which relax the bladder and cut down on frequency/urgency/some discomfort and pain. I think a combination of these drugs usually gives people quite a bit of relief and also following the IC diet which you'll find at that website too. I don't think I have IC but probably overactive bladder and the ditropan xl has helped alot!
currently i'm on 300 mg of welbutrin xl in the evening before bed, 150 mg of welbutrin sr in the morning, 150 mg effexor xr in both morning and before bed, and 40 mg of geodon in the evening.
Can you please tell me if Wellbutrin XL will help with anxiety issues. Or can the medication Cymbalta be of better use?

I have Crohn’s Disease and Ankylosing spondylitis for over ten 15 years now and have taken steroids and Mezavant XL 4800mg which always have worked, but have caused a cataract. I am now on Mezavant XL 4800mg and weekly Humira injections for 6 month. At first Humira worked completely, but for the last 3 month I now have got again explosive Diarrhoea and bleeding.
I have had total bladdure failure and have taken Detrol and Ditropan with no good result. I am seeing the ururologist tomorrow and am worried that he will chalk this up to MS and tell me to live with it. Have any of you experienced this? Are there other remedies out there for this? I dont want to live with this, making me very upset. I appreciate it and thanks.

You can ask your doctor to prescribe some antispasmodics, such as Ditropan, for relieving the bladder spasms. If the spasms are under control even the frequency will decrease to a considerable extent.
Additionally, you can also request prescription for some low-dose sedatives, maybe from the benzodiazepine group, to get you through the first week or so. Do not continue the sedatives longer than 10-12 days as they have the potential to cause dependence.
I was put on this medicine (I have schizoaffective disorder depressive type) and it made my psychosis come out like crazy. I had to stop it.
He claims that he does not even feel that he is a bit wet. I have taken him to the doctor and had him tested for everything. His doctor put him on Ditropan. I did not use it because he stoped wetting his pants. Now He is wetting at school everday. I do not know what to do. The school wants him in pull ups and he refuses to go to school if I put one on him. The doctor said to give him the medicine but i dont think that he needs it because this just comes and goes.
My doctor started me on Wellbutrin XL 150mg and I felt great the first couple of days, however I now get very depressed in the afternoons, dwelling on the past - how I could have done things better and how messed up my life is now, the doc wants to increase the dose to 300mg but these pills are expensive!! I can't afford to pay $120/month just for these....isn't there anything cheaper that would help?

For past 1 or 2 days I feel mild aching on right side of my shoulder and right side between stomach and chest.It was not uncomfortable though and I was not feeling the pain unless I bend down/up.Luckily I cannot feel the pain from today.Is it related to my heart?
Hi how long did your doc say it would take? Most meds work after a couple of days, but sometimes bp meds are given a couple of weeks to settle and for you to adjust to.
She does take Detrophen XL frequently. I am not sure if it has any effect or she is just not satisfied with me. Any real advice, please? Thanks in advance!
I have taken Toprol xl 25 mg for about 5 years. My doctor switched me to metoprolol several months ago. When I filled my prescription this time, it was from a different mfg and I think I may be having problems with it as I just don't feel right. Could changing the mfg make a difference? ALSO, my doctor prescribed 50 mg to be cut in half for my prescribed 25 mg dose. Does cutting this tablet in half compromise the time release?
Stayed up all night talking, No Sex. slept till 2pm. I showered. Opened up his medicine cabinet and helped myself to 3 of what I thought was short acting adderal- he caught me, threw me out of his house and never wants to hear from me again. I have no reason to blame him.

i have been on toporol XL since about 16wks pregnant due to some heart issues. i am now 35wks and was told last week they saw his heart skipping beats and his bpm was on the low side 120bpm. my ob suggested i stop taking the meds and sent me to a high risk ob who told me to continue taking them. i only take 25mg a day but could this med have caused my son to have premature beats? i also cant find anything on what to expect after hes born.
I have frequent PVC's (often with bigeminy) and I also have lots of reflux problems. I have been getting a lot more PVC's the past couple of weeks. I switched from Toprol XL to generic Metoprolol, and I I don't know if that has had any affect. I have also had increased reflux issues during this time. I am getting more PVC's and bigeminy than normal and am noticing it most when I lean forward, especailly while eating. Does this sound like the PVC's are coming from reflux?
