I have been having irritation in the vulva area for 6 days now. It started with me noticing a slight itching and little white bumps. These bumps went away within a day and were completely painless. However, the itching remained (I was on my period so I couldn't tell if there was discharge). I used anti-yeast infection cream on the skin as i thought it might be thrush related. The doctor said it doesn't look like classical herpes but there was no yest present internally either.
ve had for 2 months (this is my 3rd antibiotic in the last 2 months) and I have developed a very red rash starting right below the opening of my vagina, the skin beside it(kinda the start of my ver inner butt cheek), all the way up to my anus. The rash is itchy and sore (esp on my anus). It looks like a severe diaper rash. I've seen this type of rash on a friends child who had an external yeast infection. Is this possible that this is what I have?

put me on Omnicef (I am an SJS survivor so antibiotics are a dangerous area for me as I developed SJS after taking Bactrim.. for an ear infection, no less!) During this same appointment, I had the bumpy, itchy rash on both sides of my labia in the creases of my legs, right where regular panties touch and told him a week of using Nystatin cream had done nothing. My sugar is in fair control, so it's not that.
I've taken 2 Diflucan tablets one one friday and one on Saturday. Monday i started bleeding my period is not due for another week.
He told me to take Diflucan once to re stabilize my digestive system and take acidopholus once daily. He also directed me to buy monstat topical cream to apply three times a day and selsun blue to apply once daily for 20 minutes, wow! I am not noticing anything getting better and was wondering how long before I should notice anything changing. My stomach cramps have subsided but not the infection on my penis tip.

In my opinion it could be fungal since you have absolutely ruled bacteria out, harmful bacteria anyway. Just to be sure why don't you get yourself 150mg of diflucan for fungal infections, if you don't have a fungal infection the diflucan won't harm you anyway.
The most important thing to do is to let go of the STD fear. Paranoia and anxiety play a major role in your body, it could be as simple as genital focused anxiety.

My first outbreak (genital HSV-1) has lasted over 6 weeks also. I've been on Valtrex the entire time and have also tried Diflucan because the doctor thought that perhaps the symptoms were dragging on for so long due to a yeast infection. Two rounds of Diflucan provided no relief. I haven't experienced open sores; only clear bumps, a rash, cracks, swollen lymph nodes, itching and tenderness. I have also been tested for all other STDs and am negative for anything other than HSV-1.
About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with a yeast infection, followed by a diagnosis of Herpes I. After several treatments of Diflucan and Nitrix cream the discharge stopped but I still have pinching and itching externally on the labial area and the rectal area. There is no visible rash, just this relentless pinching and itching. My OB gave me a pap and said she screened for all the high risk HPVs. Could she still be missing something?
I've been having a burning, extremely itchy rash of sorts on my upper lip for the past two years. I've treated it with anti-fungal, antibiotics, and anti-viral cream with no avail. Since i was confused on the Urethritis I convinced myself I had a yeast infection and on July 9th I took 150 MGS of Diflucan. My burning and discomfort in my genital region have gotten better, but since July 10th I have developed a couple of rashes on my back(right side) one is bit higher towards the middle and the other is down low. I have a discolored red spot on the shaft of my penis, I have taken keteconozol and diflucan in the past for short periods of time and they have gotten rid of this. Now my doctor put me on 200MG of Keteconozol for 8 weeks at 200mg dosage. I have been taking them now for two weeks, how long will it take this to go away? .

The doctor perscribed me Nystatin Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP. A few days later the rash went away. About two weeks ago the rash came back after having unprotected sex with my g/f. I still had a big bottle of cream left so ive been using it. The rash this time didnt appear as red as it did when I first got it. I dont know what to do there are no blisters just a minor itchy irratation.
They will probably give you a pill called diflucan which is one pill that kills any fungal or bacteria in 7 days or they will give you flagyl which u will also take for seven days. If you douche at all please stop that.
My doctor gave me some anifungal cream thinking it was ringworm but the cream is not helping it at all. I was also put on Diflucan unrelated to the rash so that alone should have (?) taken care of it. The border of the rash is raised and when inflamed (border) it itches like crazy. The center is very smooth but some days a little scaly (perhaps from the steroid creams). Does this look like it could be from Lyme?
i have a persistent itch in my inner thighs and sometimes right above my penis and where my penis meets the testicles... this thing is constant and there is usually no rash, but sometimes a rash appears but i think its from scratching. i am currently using lotromin ultra to treat it. it usually itches really early in the morning the worst but can continue through the day. this is a constant itch and i have noticed it for over a year now.
I was also distraught to see that my partner also started to experience burning pain on his penis, which was accompanied by a rash, which later seemed to flake. This has now cleared, and we are now using condoms. I continue to experience the burning pain, general discomfort and mild pain during sex and when urinating, It almost feels acidic. There is some slight swelling at the sides of my vagina particularly after sex. I still have a slight discharge although there is no unpleasant smell.
