I was on antibiotics about two months ago for a sinus infection when i got a yeast infection and i've tried all the over the counter creams and applicators they have little effects and i've been prescribed diflucan five times it's not going away and my doctors just seem to keep prescribing me this and i don't know what to do or how to fix it i also have chronic sinus infections and have for about a year but that is being dealt with im just wondering if there's a possibility i

Same partner for 1 year 5 mo. He tested neg for hsv 1 and 2 1 month ago, I was neg 2 months ago. Igg test. I took 1 diflucan 150mg last day of antibiotic as a precaution.

Could this cause a yeast infection so bad that Diflucan is not working? I now have to go to a specialist. Im a hypochondriac but I just wan to know what's wrong with me already! Please help! If this infact just yeast why won't it go away!? And how will the specialists get it to go away since the the Diflucan isn't working. I've also taken flagyl which says no trich and no vaganoisis please help?

I just finished a round of Augmentin for a sinus infection! Which I'm sure is the culprit. Also I use softsoap body wash. My husband and I haven't had sex since before the symptoms started. Thanks for all the info guys!

Thanks for your reply and advise. But i am not so concerned about the UTI, and i dont have a yeast infection. I am more concerned about the stomach issues and the way i feel when i have these flare-ups, and how to get those under control. I guess not too many people have the same issues, as i see not too many reply's huh. In anycase i will keep your advise in mind :-) Thanks again.

I took antibiotics the week before for Christmas for a sinus infection and had to take diflucan because I thought I was developing a yeast infection on the antibiotics. I started feeling better and then last week I started itching agajn and noticed red bumps appearing on my Labia and they started to become a little tender. I did two more rounds of diflucan this past week. I even had a full STD panel done and it was all negative. I had the same panel done in Sept and the numbers are the same.

two months ago i had a yeast infection in mouth, extending from penicillin i taken for a sinus infection. yeast is gone after three bottles of medication. now iam experiencing some weird things for about 3 weeks now. my mouth and throat is excessively dry night and day. i have prickley pin bumps on the roof of mouth and throat . my upper roof of mouth is pale white. iam having difficult in eating now. when i drink water my whole mouth feels prickley.

I went to the dr last Thursday which is when I took the diflucan, a prescription antifungal. I don't really want to take more diflucan though, I'm more interested if anyone has tried and true methods to get rid of stubborn yeast infections. I've been taking diflucan for years, but for this year my yeasts infections gotten worst. I went to a gyn that my gyn sent me too. She recommended a gyn doctor that is good with diseases but he is no longer at the hospital she sent me too. I am constantly getting creams and diflucan for the yeast infections. I was on Augmentin (antibiotic) for a foot infection about a month ago and then soon started developing stomach cramps. I figured the cramps were related to what was wrong with my penis. If I was you I will tell your doctor to give you the two pills so the yeast infection will go completely away. Also I always wait at least a week after my yeast infection have gone away before I have sex. Not sure about you but the produces in the latex condom always cause my vagina to be irritated. I recommend that you all use sensitive condom.

By this time my wife had come down with a yeast infection. I went back to the doctor and he gave me some diflucan. After 3 days the symptoms subsided, but never entirely went away. My wife's symptoms went away completely after 3 days of diflucan. I went back to the doctor again. This time he did an STD screen for clamydia and gonnorea, both negative. He gave me some z-pack antibiotic to clear up any other bacteria, and told me to continue taking the difulcan.
